Brought our Chrysler minivan to Folsom Lake Chrysler for 30k mile service. They flushed our transmission and a few weeks later the trans failed. We were on a road trip, had car towed to nearest Chrysler dealer who told us they found silicone in the trans & believed it caused the damage. Fix took 10 days, initally Chrysler would not cover cost of fix since we were 9 days past expiration of warranty. They later decided to cover cost when it was clear we would seek legal advice. On top of repair$, we paid $1800 in expenses for rental car, warranty deductible, extra nights at hotel, etc. Folsom Lake Chrysler refuses to acknowledge that their work may have contributed to trans. failure and refuse to provide any reimbursement of our expenses. If you want a dealer who cares & gives good customer service, LOOK ELSEWHERE!
