We used Focal Point for our wedding and the photos were amazing. Photography was the MOST important thing for me with my wedding. With all of the preparations we had made to make sure the day was perfect, we wanted to be sure our photographer captured every detail. Focal Point Photographics was the perfect fit for our wedding! Allison and her assistant captured our wedding memories perfectly and made us both feel very relaxed in front of the camera (yes, even my husband!) I loved how she was able to capture the fun, ""real"" side of our personalities. Her style was relaxed and personable. That was one of the reasons we picked her. She created the most amazing album for us... true work of art. I loved how it told the story of our day. Second to marrying my wonderful husband, Allison was the best part about my wedding. I loved every part of my experience with Allison! At our planning session prior to our shoot, she throughly went through what to wear, what to bring and what to expect at the shoot. She also showed us all the amazing options we had for ways to display our photographs after the shoot. The shoot went great (despite my kids!) and although I left feeling exhausted, Allison assured me I would love the end results. She was right!! She put together an amazing slideshow set to music that we were able to view at her studio. I cried!! I fell in LOVE with all the photos and the hardest part was narrowing it down! She took care of everything including the custom framing, and I cherish the beautiful art pieces I have hanging in my home. It was worth every bit of the investment made!! I am so glad we were able to work with her and can't wait until I can start planning my next photo shoot with Focal Point. Allison made the whole experience FUN!! more

Alison offers the best photography service in & around the Austin area. She is willing to meet practically anywhere & anytime that you need her services. She can also squeeze you in at a moments notice if your schedule changes (Focal Point isn't a last minute place, but they have the type of service that will make things happen for you if you need them to).\r \r I looked at photographers for two years before I settled on Focal Point, they consistently offer the best photographs with each shot they take, unlike other photographers who only show you a few good shots & then can't reproduce that quality of work on a daily basis. Alison & her assistant are capable at producing the images that YOU want. I had so many issues that I worried about showing up in my pictures so we did a test shoot where my husband & I took engagements. I pointed out the shots that I was not as crazy about, what portions of photos I wished were different, & wa-la on my wedding day I had hundreds of quality photos that took into consideration each of my likes and dislikes. The photographs Focal Point took are the most amazing images that I have seen in my life. It has been almost 6 mo since our wedding & we are still deciding what images to take.\r \r **It should also be noted that Alison is a professional with a huge heart and great abilities. My mother-in-law was horrible at the wedding because she was having a hard time letting go & associating with certain members of the family. I cried to Alison several times before the wedding & felt hopeless about getting a full family shot for my husband. On the day of Alison commanded attention & compliance through her ability to lead, direct, & shine with the perfect personality for any situation. The photographs came back with everyone smiling because of cooperation that Alison was elicit from everyone.\r \r Focal Point is a heaven sent due to the ideal photographer and an ability to capture storybook images.
