When me and my friends go we always have a good time, plenty of options for a different type of beer if your willing to try them. The decor is really great as well. You will not be let down when you come here. And if your looking for a fun time find out when they have live bands its pretty fun. more

I usually don't write reviews, but when I saw the two negative reviews below, I thought I should. Pros: Beer, Happy Hour Specials Cons: Can be a bit too many smokers, can get overcrowded more

Scam at the front door 3/4/2008

On nights when a Live Band plays here, the Flying Saucer charges a $3 cover at the door. If you do not carry cash (like me), you can leave your drivers license with the doorman and charge the $3 on your tab. DO NOT GIVE THE DOORMAN YOUR DRIVERS LICENSE! more

I've driven past this bar for a number of years until last Saturday when I decided to see what all the fuss was about. Well, I wasn't particularly impressed. It takes more than a 100 different types of beer to impress me. The atmosphere sucked. The patrons were cold, aloof and unfriendly. The barmaid didn't even look good through my beer goggles. There were maybe three girls and a hundred guys. I thought I had maybe strayed into an all **male** establishment. Sure it looks cool, nice decor, giant wall of beer etc. but man it just wasn't any fun. I left early. And the UFO ""club"" is a joke, it should at least give you a discount on beer, but no . . . you get a stupid shirt I woundl't give away and a card that will tell you which beers to try so you can imbibe them all. Well fruity tootie toot ... you can try them all, I like what I like and I don't need 200 choices. Pros: clean Cons: boring, snot nosed patrons, unfriendly atmosphere more

I remembered the Flying Saucer from when I was in grad school in Nashville-- the Addison location brought back a lot of great memories. Fantastic beer selection, good atmosphere. We usually bring a group, and we have a great time! more
