Flower Fields

Absolutely beautiful! Can't imagine anything negative about it. Well worth the cost to stroll the grounds at your leisure. more

Located in beautiful Carlsbad, CA during the springtime months, the Flower Fields are open. Exiting Palomar Airport Road from the 5 freeway, you will find acres and acres of beautiful flowers right next to some good Outlet stores. These flower fields are beautiful; they plant rows of flowers according to color, and it is quite a sight to see these gigantic color blocks on the hill. By paying a small admission fee, you can go in and wander around. Some of my most favorite pictures were taken at these flower fields. It's very scenic, with the ocean in the background. For extra money, you can also ride a wagon that takes you around the entire flower field. This is definitely worth checking out the next time you are driving through Carlsbad. more

This place is gorgeous as you drive past the freeway. I decided to take my inlaws to see it. My mother in law is really into flowers so I thought she'd love it. There is an entrance fee, can't remember exactly what we paid to get in but it was higher than I thought was worth it. there really isn't anything more than taking pictures to do there. Although if you do go for photographing opportunities it would be worth seeing once up close because it is pretty amazing. I just probably would'nt take visitors from out of town there. more

Do you love flowers? The Carlsbad Flower Fields are an annual springtime attraction and tourist stop! They have kids days which feature activities, art projects, pictures and entertainment. You can also visit the Armstrong Nursery while you are there to get anything for your garden! Kids and families love to visit and admire the rows and rows of flowers every year!
