Florida Health Solution

My wife had an abdominal pain after hours, we could not find one single urgent care center that was open at 7pm even though they were supposed to be open till 11pm, finally had to take her to Baptist, the nearest ""urgent"" ctr on their list has a $200 ""emergency"" fee even if you have the FHS card or not, what is the point of this plan? you pay more after month and then when you need it, they're not there for you! more

Hello, I want to share my experience with FHS plan, I find the plan really helpful to families that can't afford high rate plans, for the cost it couldn't be any better. I'm a certified medical biller and coder and had work with health insurances for 13 years, and I'm really impress of all the services this plans offers. I know what is like to pay high premiums, I know about high deductibles and co-payments. With my experience as a certified biller is better to have some type of coverage than have nothing. Is amazing how some people buy expenses policy's and don't have a clue what are they signing up for.In addition alot's of people think because they have a health insurance that the insurance will cover everything at 100%, but they are so wrong. Customers also have the responsibility to pay a small portion of the bill. I was without health coverage for almost a year, and I was worried all the time in the event of having to go to the Dr., because I did not have health coverage.When I found out about FHS, I immediately wanted to know more about the coverage, and now i'm a really happy customer. I'm able to take my kids to the Dr. for their check -up with a co-payment of $15.00 per visit., do their routine lab work to keep them healthy, and use many other services that the plans offers. I'm glad I found FHS to take care of my family Health needs. Have a bless day! more

hace 3 anos tengo este plan y me ha sido de mucha utilidad. pues yo he recibido demasiados beneficos medicos por lo poco que pago. me han atendido como yo me lo merezco, y sus especialistas son de alto prestigios. Les recomiendo a no se dejan llevar por comentarios daninos de persona sin escrupul;os que nunca han tenido un plan medico y no saben como funcionan y solo buscan perjudicar a los demas. more

First of Florida Health Solution is not health insurance, it is a prepaid medical and discount plan. I have it for myself and my daughter. They offer free check ups,pharmacy discounts, and vision discount, the same way a insurance company would at half the cost. If the plan is used properly you should have any problems. I've used the service many times , for many visits and I've never had an issue with any of the doctor in there network. There customer service has always answered my calls and even scheduled special visits for me, so if you've experience I think your using the plan wrong. more

THIS IS NOT MY OPINION THIS IS A FACT .........\r DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU .\r \r IN DECEMBER 2010 I FOUND OUT ABOUT FLORIDA HEALTH SCAM FROM A SALES PERSON FROM THE SAME COMPANY , SHE WAS VERY NICE .....VISITED MY HOME , MET MY FAMILY AND EXPLAINED THE SERVICE IN DETAIL .......IT SEEMED PRETTY GOOD .......BUT WHEN I HAD THE SERVICE AND NEEDED TO USE IT FOUND OUT THAT ALL THAT IS OFFERED IS A LIE ..........80 % OF THE DOCTORS THAT THY HAVE IN THE DIRECTORY DO NOT HAVE SERVICE OR A PACT WITH THEM ...IT WAS COMPLETELY UN USEFULL .....I TRIED TO CANCELL MANY TIMES BUT NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE THEN WHEN THEY ANSWERED THEY PUT ME ON HOLD AND NEVER ANSWERED AGAIN .......DAYS AFTER CALLED BACK AND WAITED FOR A LONG TIME TO BE ANSWERED AND SAID THAT I WANTED TO CANCELL AND THE DIRECTOR OF CUSTOMER SERVICE SPOKE TO ME ...AND SAID SHE WOULD FIX THINGS AND WILL CALL ME BACK ...........1 MONTH PASSED AND NOTHING ...........SO I CALLED BACK TO CANCEL .AND ASKED FOR A REFUND OF THE MONEY I HAD PAID AND LOST BECAUSE COULD NOT USE THE SERVICE .....I SPOKE TO "" THE PERSON THAT ACTED LIKE THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY AND SAID THAT THERE WHERE NO REFUNDS I SENT A LETTER AND SPOKE TO A LAWYER AND ASKED THIS COMPANY TO GIVE ME A WRITTEN ANSWER TO MY REQUEST .....AND HAVE BEEN MUTE FOR THE LAST 1AND A HALF MONTH ...............THESE ARE THIEVES \r AND TERRIBLE PEOPLE .....I TOLD THEM I HAD 2 CHILDREN AND THAT THEY WERE STEELING FROM THEM AND THE MAN JUST SAID THAT THERE ARE NO REFUNDS .....................GOD BE WITH THIS SCAM COMPANY more

This insurance(Florida Health Solutions) is a piece of garbage, I just cancelled and they charge my bank acct. again now they say that they need 5 - 10 days to actually cancel the policy and that they can not return my money. I don't recommend this insurance to anyone unless you want to waste money. more

Everytime I call there number, during normal business hours, no one has answered. This company has not provided me with any information about my Florida Health Plan that I signed up for.
