Installers were prompt, genuinely respectful of myself and my home. They seemed truely passionate about their work and creating a beautiful living space for myself and my family. My tub, shower, master bath complete with granite counters looks out of this world! The designers at the showroom helped me with my selection of paint, tile and granite colors, of course it turned out perfectly; I was working with perfectionists! Ok-my upstairs is next, with Flooring World Carpet One, there was no hassles and the crew was very clean! Pros: Installers, they have some men to be proud of, hassle free, neat and easy! this company has done work for us since 1999 and they are good at installing floors! any floors, we've done them all, over the years from vinyl and laminate to wood and stone. what im particularly writing about in this case is the installation men and salesmen that have been with them for so long; yrs and yrs & the office assistant too, we always know what kind of job we're gonna get and rarely are we every surprised! not to say that they are perfect! i dont think you could say anyone is perfect, unless you call perfection coming right back to repair the mistakes made because this company is loyal, caring about Our customers and very accountable! thanks again to you guys-and the Wood's that own the place for being good enough to work for to keep the same guys for so long. my hats off to you! Flooring World really made a difference in the look of my home. I had my master shower & tub around, with the floor re-tiled. My kitchen, utility, entry & guest bth re-tiled. I had granite placed on my counter top for $30 square foot just like advertised, including EVERYTHING! I also ordered new carpet for the rest of the exposed floors. The backsplash is awesome---Soooo beautiful, the designer there picked it out along with the granite for me & it came out beautiful! I just Love my new kitchen! Flooring World's next project at my home is replacing the ugly glossy white tiles in the guest bth, it doesn't need it but, it looked so good in my master I want it done in my guest bth. Oh I almost forgot, they also tiled the previous ugly cultured marble counters in the master, and I now want this done in the guest bth as well, then they replaced an ugly tile on the fireplace with granite & it changed my entire living area! Another project I have for Flooring World is replacing an ugly sheetrocked post with a beautiful column my home is sooo awesome! YEAH Flooring World! I'm more into the money part of things-the value vs the quality/warranties etc. I was really impressed with the entire warranty system set up at Flooring World. I was surprised quite frankly that this company was enough and did enough to satisfy both my wife and myself. She thought the Interior Decorators there were a real help and I thought they were a real Value at NO Charge. Plus, not only did they help us with the tile & granite slab selections for the kitchen but they were very hands on when it came to the complicated flooring installation discussion as well. The hardwoods for the rest of the home were a steal (they made us a "package deal") and even did the shutters my wife has been bugging me about since we moved into our home a yr ago. I have to say, hats off, to a job well done. Pros: Price, quality. warranty, selection, help from decorators, and price! I don't know who this person veronicaj is who wrote that Flooring World doesn't pay their workers, I've worked there for as long as they've been @their present location ALMOST 6 YRS & The Owners pay their Employees before they pay themselves. All I can figure is that this person who wrote this last review, last year was a girlfriend of a contractor that was either fired for poor installation & his work had to be repaired by one of the professional installation craftsmen Flooring World has had happily working for them for 3-4yrs (they don't ever like their client's to be hassles by repairs, however, hiring new guys is sometimes needed) or the boyfriend spent his paycheck on his way home from collecting it! I can tell you that I WORKED FOR FW WHEN HURRICANE RITA CAME & THE OWNERS MADE SURE ALL OF THEIR EMPLOYEES & INSTALLERS HAD CASH AVAILABLE/ON HAND AS BANKS WERE CLOSED FOR SEVERAL DAYS!! NOW THAT'S BEING A CHRISTIAN, DOING THINGS FOR OTHERS WHEN YOU DON'T HAVE TOO! Integrity-Adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character, honesty. These people do not pay their workers on time!!! They claim to be "Christians" yet you have to look for them in order to get paid. They make you drive far for nothing and act like they can talk to you however they want. They are very disrespectful and all they care about id their money... If you want to be treated like trash-go ahead and work for them. You will be extremely disappointed! more
