That was all I really had, and I didn't put them into place. Mark, the guy who works at Floor De Lis, was really creative and helpful, and he was able to point me to directions within my rates. He did this rather than make me feel overwhelmed, since all floors begin to look the same after seeing them for a while. He knew the stock inventory well enough to point out in directions within my pace and budget. Floor De Lis has a friendly staff who is very knowledgeable about their inventory, which I think is very important. They were EXTREMELY reasonable for the quality of the flooring. I didn't quite realize the difference in quality until I used Floor De Lis. Their value for the better quality of flooring is incomparable. more

I explored several options, from manufactured wood, to tile, and Floor De Lis was very helpful in terms of explaining the different types of flooring and the pros and cons of each. I also ultimately purchased several area rugs from them, and they were very easy to work with in terms of meeting my schedule, and meeting me at the site where I could choose the area rug. more

Mark was extremely helpful and knowledgeable during this process. I was able to send him pictures over the phone of what I was looking for. He located the item for me, I picked it up that afternoon and was on my way in no time at all. I didn't even need to get out of the car for the pickup, the service was that good! I obtained a price for a similar flooring product from a major retailer and had to deal with an out-of-town office to schedule the installation. I did not feel that I was getting great service, so I went to Floor de Lis on Canal Street. I dealt with Mark, who was extremely professional and provided great service. I paid even less than the supposed discount retailer and had a much better experience. The installation went very smoothly. My wife and I purchased a Shaw hardwood for our den and new tile for our foyer and upstairs bath. Jose' and his crew installed everything in a neat, timely manner and we were very satisfied. The salesman in the showroom was very helpful in assisting us with picking out products and they were very flexible with working with our schedule. I hired Floor De Lis to replace my old laminated floor. Overall, the installation went very well. They were accommodating with their schedule and worked around my availability, which was great. They arrived on time and the finished product looks excellent. Even when a tile got pulled up during the process, they re-grouted and replaced the tile and it looks great. i recently bought carpet for one room in my house. The overall experience was great. The very first employee I encountered was a women at the store (Ido not remember her name.) She was extremely nice but not very knowledgeable. Mark was veery nice to deal with, very professional. The two men who laid the carpet were very professional and did a great job. Floor De Lis is a nice store and it is located close to my house, which is good. They have a very good selection and they can order anything not on hand. The salespeople were very knowledgeable about the products they offer. I know they offer a great selection of wood floor products, but my thing was ceramic, and they know what they are talking about. We have been working with Floor De Lis for about 3 years. As far as subcontractors go, they are one of the best we have worked with. They get in and get out, and they do excellent work.
