Whole new look for my home; very pleased with work 5/23/2016

My experience with Floor Coverings International of Madison is that their salesperson was very knowledgeable, professional, and very informative--and that their workers were all very efficient. They did a beautiful job with the installation and followed up when we needed a touch-up here and there. They tore up the carpeting in the dining room and hallway to the bedroom, and they installed laminate flooring that is a waterproof flooring. They installed it from the dining room, down the hallways to the bedroom, and then back to the front door. They also installed new carpeting in the living room and family room--a Shaw carpet that is more of a medium pile--and it has a light grey color which goes very well with my furniture. I have recommended FCI to others. In fact, I have to do the tile in the bathroom and intend to call them to do it. Very positive experience and very pleasantly surprised 2/24/2016

We called Floor Coverings International for the first time, and they replaced a room's worth of carpeting and padding. We would go back to them because they were very prompt, very courteous and did a wonderful job. The installer was clean and I felt the price was fair. I would definitely recommend them 2/23/2016

Everyone at Floor Coverings International was very proficient, professional and just really hardworking people. They put down hardwood floor and ceramic tiles throughout the house. It was our the first time calling them and they did an excellent job. Everything turned out beautiful, the price was wonderful and very reasonable. Great service, great floor! 12/7/2015

I had Floor Coverings International replace my kitchen floor from regular cheap vinyl to a new luxury vinyl and am very happy with their work. What I especially appreciated was that they came to my house for me to pick out what we wanted. We didn't have to go anywhere or go out to a showroom to look at their choices, which wasn't an option at the moment with a new baby in the house. The crew that came to do the installation was also really great; they were punctual, let us know what was going to happen, and finished the job promptly. My floors look great and for their prices, which ended up being the most competitive out of the other quotes we got, I would definitely use them again!! more

Exceptional and personalized service 10/23/2015

Floor Coverings International of Madison, WI installed new wood floors in my kitchen, dining room, hallway, and living room, and carpet in three bedrooms. I'm very happy with the results and the overall experience. I'm the type of person to call about every little thing, and they were always there for me and returned my calls promptly. Hubie personally took care of me. During the consultation Kevin made sure I understood every part of the process. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. He spent three hours here, and helped me select the right type of flooring for my needs. He went over everything and even explained the types of fiber and foam in carpets. I never felt pressured or hurried, and he did a great job educating me. Kevin is a doll. The guys who came out for the installations were very professional and knew exactly what they were doing. They worked quickly, and I liked that they kept me informed along the way. Part way through the installation I decided to remodel my kitchen, and they were very flexible and worked with me to finish the project after. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs flooring done. more

We had Floor Coverings International install carpeting in our basement hallway. The guy who did the measurements was really professional and confident. The installers were efficient, and the quality of work was very good. This was our first time working with them, everyone was polite, and the price was fair. We would call them again. more

Great overall service, highly recommended! 10/20/2015

Great customer service and experience with the owner, sales representative, and installation guys from Floor Coverings International. They were just phenomenal. We had them do about 900 sq.ft. of wood flooring. The installation people were punctual and finished the job in great time. Prices are good and I would certainly use them again. more

I wanted a specific type of flooring for my home. I looked at several companies, but Floor Coverings International was the only one that carried the product I was looking for. The price for the floor was relatively reasonable. I ordered wood floors to be put in my dining room, living room, and master bed. It was a fairly big job. The workers were good. They worked very hard. I am very happy with the results. They have held up nicely so far. more

Great flooring service 8/14/2015

Floor Coverings International of Madison, WI installed linoleum in a home I was trying to sell. I heard about this company from my realtor after I had a bad experience trying to purchase flooring from a home hardware store. Since choosing to work with FCI instead, I have been very pleased with everything. The price is reasonable and the products are much better quality than the home hardware store. The staff and installation technician were very cordial and nice. I have been very satisfied in all my dealing with Floor Coverings International of Madison, WI. more

Good experience! 5/14/2015

When Floor Coverings International first came out, they thought they would just have to have to nail the new wood floor down. However, when they took up the old carpet, underneath it was pressboard. They took the carpet off and laid contact paper down and glued it down. It took longer than we originally expected, but they stayed until the job was done. They did a good job. They let us know what they found, and they still charged us the same price. They lived up to everything they said they would do, and we were glad for everything they did. When they finished, they cleaned up afterwards. It was a good experience, quality workmanship, and the price was right. more

Floor Coverings International of Madison, WI was extremely good. They were straight forward about their services and were responsive with our questions. When they delivered our flooring material, the owner drove out to make sure everything was done right. And that was on a Saturday! We really appreciated that and it showed that they care about their customers. They have great personal and prompt responsiveness. more

The salesperson that Floor Coverings International of Madison, WI sent us was pleasant and informative of different floors to choose for our house. After that, the crew did measurements and gave us prices quickly. After we set a date for installation, the crew finished installing the floors in two days. It went very well because they were neat and tidy. more

A good experience. 9/22/2014

This was the first time I used Floor Coverings International of Madison, WI. We had a composite Hickory flooring installed throughout the house. Everyone we worked with was very good, and we haven't had any issues with their service. I would recommend them. more
