Fleischmann Planetarium Unr

This is a fun place to spend an afternoon. Their star shows vary and change on a regular basis. There is a very nice public observatory which is amazing to do. It is well worth your time to check this planetarium out. I consider this a local treasure. It is entertaining for both children and adult. more

The Fleischman Planetarium and Science Center offers free telescope viewing (weather permitting) and an array of scientific displays. In their beautiful sky dome they offer full dome showings of educational films. Now showing are "Adrenaline Rush- the Science of Risk"; Oceans in Space""; and "The Dark Side of the Moon". "Live Sky Tonight Star Talk" is presented with telescope viewing the first Friday of each month at 6 P.M. (Tickets are $4.00 for general admission). They also feature a unique gift shop where you can purchase the best quality telescopes, binoculars and hundreds of science- related and educational items.
