Flat Fee Landlord managed my property in Arlington for nearly 3 years and I was completely satisfied with the results. They kept me in the loop when my old tenants moved out and found me great tenants to rent my home much faster than I expected. Overall in my experience with Flat Fee Landlord's, they were very professional and thorough in every aspect of the job. They always responded quickly with little issues and I could almost always get someone on the phone if needed be. The company is also very IT savvy with easy accessibility from the internet and is quite affordable. I researched 4 different management companies and Flat Fee Landlord's was the right choice. more

Flat Fee Landlord is generally good but my big gripe is their payment. Sometimes I don't get it ten to thirteen days after the first. I expect a check so that I can make payments on the mortgage but sometimes I don't get it until the middle of the month. If they fixed that then I would not have any complaints. It was a pleasure speaking with you on the phone and hearing your concerns and ideas on how to speed up the payment process. This has been something we have been working on and will continue to work on improving. The feedback and ideas you provided will help. As I mentioned, the ACH payment process takes 3-5 business days to process on each side of the transaction (tenant to us, us to landlord). The rent money that is deposited into our operating account (a non-interest bearing account)from your tenant does not stay in that account for more than 24 hours before payment is initiated to the landlord. Currently, if the rent has not been paid by your tenant by the 5th of the month, our procedure is to notify you of the non payment (this way you always know what is going on with rent payments). We will take your suggestions and try our best to work them into our business model and update you with improvements. Flat Fee Landlord are our property managers since about last June or July and I like that they have an online system that allows me to track all of the communication between the tenants, us, and the company. Overall, it's been pretty good. more
