Flanigan's Seafood Bar & Grill

I am so disgusted with this place. All alone for the day I decided I wanted my favorite dish I always get. But because I don't choose to sit all alone by myself in the restaurant I am not allowed to order it. That is for dine in only. I was told. When I asked for a manager he said he couldn't because he would get in trouble with corporate. But I could order it all separately and pay much more and have less quality food by the time I got home. He felt it was not right and his name was Michael. A nice guy but chose to lose me as a customer for good. I don't like being discriminated against for any reason. Let alone for being alone. That is wrong. I am so upset because my family loves eating at flanigans but because of this they won't get to ever again. Discrimination is WRONG! And I won't tolerate it from someone I am giving my hard earned money to. You want my money you have to take care of me. And I was not taken care of. I was humiliated because my family was not with me. But if I was a loser and wanted to sit at the bar by myself getting drunk they would be ok with that. Never again.\r \r update...corporate manager called me back and was one of the most rude and nasty people i have ever talked to in a long time...she didn't care how i was made to feel by this situation and she told me under no certain terms was the policy going to change and she didn't care that i thought it should be changed...this just solidifies my stance of NEVER giving my money to these people ever again more

The ribs were good. The mild wings were cooked beyond recognition. The Tilapia was without seasoning. Not sure what they did to the baked potato. If you go, get the fries. They are hard to screw up. It was freezing cold as the AC must have been set on 60. The music was so loud I used pieces of my napkin as earplugs. Won't be back. more

Pretty good food. Half price drinks. Yummy desserts. Not a place I'd rave about but would eat there again. more

Great prices, my waitress was nice and told me that if I got my margarita from the bar it was half price, good steak and shrimp, nice place more

On 4/20/2012 my boyfriend and i went to this restaurant in Bal Harbor and were treated very badly by the nighttime manager. he ask us to leave because we smelled like cannabis and we didnt even have anything on us. WTF. What they didnt know is i work for a national NORML magazine. Hope you enjoy being boycotted by all us cannabis users. more

I didn't get to have anything to eat. In fact, I didn't get a drink either. Nobody ever came to wait on me. I watched other folks get seated after me and they got service. I got up and left. That is poor service. Three of the help stands around gretting at the door. Maybe they should put on aprons and start waiting. The place was not busy. Amazing. more

Great food. Great service. Ribs were wonderful. They goofed part of order but corrected asap. Good eating at a fair price more

My take out order was short two items and when I opened bag from home and called, the bartender denied. CHECK YOUR TAKEOUT order! Inside is not worth the wait. Great burger though, not worth the wait. more

The. Ticket was right but the takeout was mostly wrong so check your order before you leave. Generally it's lots of food for the price more

Did you know that if you sit at the Bar at Flanigans during Happy Hour you get half price on Drinks, but if you sit 3 feet away at a table in the Bar area to EAT and Drink they BANG you full price!..No Happy hour for you Skippy...Just because your spending a lot more money than our bar flies your NOT entitled to any discount so take off!\r Isn't it amazing that this practice is their so called "Corporate Policy"\r I attempted to question the Manager " IGGY" about the unfainess, but like any "Corporate Dude" or Dud, he just passed the buck and blamed it on the company.\r We were a table of six and our total bill was over $100 for food and a few drinks. had we been given the Happy Hour price, we would have stayed longer and saved a few $$$\r Hey Corporate...You just lost 6 customers and now I am on a rampage to blog because you did not even answer my E-Mail that I sent you out of courtesy!!!! more

I just returned from having dinner at your Surfside location and I can honestly tell you it was the worst dining experience of my life. The execution of the meal from the time we entered the restaurant at 5:40 PM until the time we left at 7:20 PM was unacceptable. \r \r When we entered the restaurant there were many empty tables that needed to be cleared. There was no host at the front and it was basically a free for all. \r \r We are regulars so we did not even need menus. We placed our drink and food order simultaneously of which there were 3 meal deals and 10 wings. The salads and wings came out in a timely manner then our fun started. After about an hour of being there, we finally asked for a manager who said he would check up on our order. About 10 more minutes went by and he finally came out and said he was working on it. \r \r About 7 minutes later our food arrived. While eating, the manager came out and said dessert was on him. Nice effort. Except when our bill came the dessert was on there. The fact the tip was included was a total joke as no service was really provided.\r \r I can honestly tell you that we were avid fans of Flanigan's but based on our experience today, I regret to inform you that Flanigan's has been taken off of our dining options forever. It just was not up to par, not even close to a triple bogey.\r \r In today's tough economic times, I do not feel that Flanigan's is making an effort to provide the quality and value that it once did. more

My husband and I ate here and it was the best food I have had in South Beach, the Key Lime Pie was the best I have ever had, I wish I could get some sent to me, I have tried others but this is by far the best. Pros: The servers were great, food was great, parking was not an issue more

We had a great visit at this restaurant. Our server was so nice and for Miami, that is hard to come by! Even the manager came by the table...rare for our experiences in Miami. I liked all the stuff to look at in the restaurant including the fish tank. There were plenty of tv's for your viewing pleasure. The menu was full of options and the prices were excellent. The drinks were plentiful with take home cups. I highly recommend the seared tuna sandwich on kaiser roll. YUM! And they have about 8 lunch specials for $4.99 that run until 4pm. For this area and this critic and advocate for good service...Can't Be Beat! Pros: Best Service, Food, Prices Cons: Standard Metered Parking 'til 6pm more

Every chance we get, my husband and I escape to Flanigan's in Surfside. The ambiance is comfortable to the utmost. It is great for families, couples, vacationers, and residents. If you wish to dine alone, that is fine, too. We enjoy the front room, where if there is nice weather, the doors are open to the breezes coming in from the beach a block away. The service can't be equaled. The food is excellent, and the price is right! Go, you'll love it! Pros: Excellent Service, Ambiance, Great food more

The love of my life and I spent a week at the Westin Diplomat. What a wonderful time on the 26th floor corner suite!!! Heaven. The next best thing was our visit to Flanigans. We had a fabulous time. Friendly people, great atmosphere, the food was terrific, drinks perfect, priced right. I would love to have it all to do again. GO! You'll love it too!!! Pros: delicious food, friendly, efficient, ample parking more
