James and Five Points Advisory Group helped us out a lot. They provided us with excellent service. They were always available and able to answer our questions. We worked with them for over a year and a half, and in the end, everything turned out favorably. We've already recommended people to Five Points. One of our friends was in worse shape than we were. We told him, "You've got to call James!" and James said that he should have called them a long time ago! more

I was on $@!#% and hadn't filed for thirteen years. When I went to Five Points Advisory Group they got every year filed, so I don't have any more things in the way. They did an excellent job. Maryland also had a new law last year that says if you owe state tax, you can't have a license. So I was paying my car payments for a year and couldn't drive the car. But now I can drive. I'm so happy. It was depressing paying those payments and not being able to drive. I'm ecstatic. I owed $150,000 for IRS and $120,000 for state. They allow you to go exempt and not pay taxes like taking holiday pay or going overtime. You can go exempt and you get all your money. So you can really get yourself in trouble. But now I can breathe. I'm impressed with them; I really am. If I hadn't filed for thirteen years and they freed me, they're the best. Nobody else who goes to them is going to be like me. They may have a few years, but they won't have thirteen. So if they can do me, they can do anybody. I'm their poster boy. Joe Dawson more

I received a flyer from this Company and after the last few years of having my taxes done by friends, and referrals, there was something wrong with the last 3 so I decided to just go with my gut. I did my research about them before I called. I spoke to and ended up working directly with James Ferreira. He was professional, knowledgeable and went above and beyond my expectations. He educated me on things I need to do to make the tax season "tolerable". I have referred others to James and will continue to do so. Thanks James! :-) more

Great communication, informative & fair pricing - Highly recomended! 3/20/2013

Great new company with fair pricing,informative, and very helpful with adjusting our withholding / 401k to make sure we are using our hard earned dollars and not Uncle Sam at zero interest. James was very thorough and always followed up with emails or phone calls to update status etc.. Would highly recommend these guys and will never go back to H&R Block or any giant Franchise tax service or Turbo Tax for that matter . You won't be disappointed! CHEERS more

Painless, Accurate Tax Preparation 3/14/2013

This is the second year we have had James Ferreira at Five Points Advisory Group prepare our taxes. We couldn't be more pleased. This year he added time to his schedule to accommodate our availability! His work is accurate, timely and reasonable. He delivered exactly what he said he would. Used every possible route to get you the most of your refund. 2/8/2013

They gave me many options as to what to do with my financial information and used my information in different ways to get the largest refund possible. Everything was explained to me as it was being done and the workers were hospitable and respectful. As soon as my information was ready, I received a phone call explaining which route was taken with my forms and why it was beneficial to me.I was then given more information about how things would look like when I filed my taxes next year. I was then given a quota for savings for the upcoming year, which put a lot of things into perspective. Would definitely recommend. more
