The work done so far is satisfactory but the full work promised is yet to be completed. So we'll see. RESPONSE FROM Five Points Advisory Group: All work for Mark has been completed as agreed on the contract. We were able to prepare and file 4 years of delinquent tax returns, lift the wage garnishment from the IRS and get him in to a Currently Not Collectable status with the IRS to protect his bank accounts and wages all within 2 weeks of when he signed up with our company. more

Being broke and hounded by IRS is not a good situation. Five Points helped me "get them off my back." Although we weren't able to get a payment plan arranged, the IRS did put my case on hold. Our next attack is to attempt a settlement. Five Points was of great assistance communicating with my agent that was less than cooperative and unorganized. I look forward to working with them to get my issue finally resolved. more

The person with Five Points Advisory Group that helped me was James. Basically, he got me to the point where I was comfortable again. I would say he did a lot to help me and educate me on a lot of different things, when it comes down to the IRS. He got me set up on a great payment plan, which I'm happy with. It would have been better if I could have gotten a percentage of the amount I owed wiped out or something, but that's the only thing I have a problem with. more

I had been in contact with James and the staff at Five Points and what was different about them is the fact that they just didn't want my money upfront. They actually did contact the IRS on my behalf like they said they would and figured out everything that was going on with my debt and what needed to be done. The best part is that they didn't charge me anything for that! So I could've walked away at that point and wouldn't owe them anything, but I am sure glad I didn't! The California franchise tax board claimed I owed them over fifty one thousand dollars for two years alone! Five Points filed 3 returns and after 5 years of tax debt with California, I didn't owe them anything and it turned out that they owed me the money they had been garnishing from my paycheck. It took the state 4 months but I got my garnishment refund check in the mail for four-thousand six-hundred and ninety-nine dollars and forty cents! I couldn't believe my eyes! James had told me but I thought it was too good to be true! Now the state isn't garnishing my eleven dollar an hour check anymore (thanks to Five Points), and from now on I will actually get my refunds when I file! James is currently working on my offer-in-compromise with the IRS! I can't wait. The best part of all this, is every other company I spoke to, charged me anywhere from thirty-five hundred to five thousand dollars and they wanted fifty percent down payment up front. Five Points charged me a lot less, my down payment was a couple hundred dollars, and they gave me a 10 month payment plan, something I can actually afford! They are almost done with my case and I am still paying them!!! I am so thankful to them and there great staff. I have been to their office a couple of times because I am only about an hour away and ALL of them are so nice! Thanks again Five Points! more

I must say this group is very professional and they really do care. They are not just out to "make a buck." They prepared my taxes in a timely manner for a low fee and also contacted the IRS when they made a mistake on my return. They did not require an additional fee and saved me over $1000.00!
