Every time I go there the staff is rude. They roll their eyes, give me a bad time about using credit card to pay or groupon certificate. They also give me a bad time if I don't order a lot. I was there with my wife and two year old and the guy started being rude to my wife as well. I was close to taking him outside and giving him a beating. Their jerky sucks too. And they don't itemize your receipt and show you what you paid for, by weight. I think it's often the case that I've been over charged. Safeway is just as good as these jerks and no pressure and don't treat you like trash more

Rude Owner and staff 10/18/2011

I frequently purchase pepperoni sticks from this place. The owner and other employees kept asking if I had cash each time I used my debit card, and became cold when I said I didn't. They also kept asking if that was "all I was going to get". Finally the owner told me that he was losing money everytime I came in, and I needed to keep track of my purchases and let them know when they reached $10. At that point they'd "swipe my card". Wow. RUDE. The small debit card fee the owner assumes is the cost of doing business. Won't ever shop there again. more

Lost fish 10/29/2009

Took two 12 lb salmon into Fischer to be smoked and when I went to pick them up they only had one fish. They said they lost the other. Also when I called to see if the fish were ready, the person on the phone said I wasn't their only customer. Now I won't be a customer at all. The one fish I did get wasn't very tasty, stick with Jensons for smoking fish. more

Took two 12 lb salmon in to be smoked. Got one salmon back, said they lost the other one. Besides they are rude, when I called to see if the fish were ready who ever answered the phone told me I wasn't their only customer. Now I won't be a customer at all. more

I really like this place and the meat is delicios. I have been going here for quite some time for quality meats and such. It's a very unique looking place and I love the "old " atmosphere. The people there are very friendly as well..I reccomend it to anybody wholikes quality meat. more

Great Pepperoni Sticks 9/23/2005

I used to work just down the street from this place and I would like to get the occasional treat of pepperoni sticks. They are the best. My boss would order the prime rib and he said it was very good as well. Check it out for yourself and see what you can find. more

Mmmm...Meat 8/19/2005

Sure you can buy meat from the local mega-mart and it's perfectly fine for a Sunday BBQ. However, when the time is right for a special occasion it deserves a special quality of meat. If you are unconvinced that it's worthwhile, just buy a slab of packaged salt and fat called bacon from your chain store and then buy some from Fischer Meats. Cook them both up and then make a decision. It may not be a daily destination, but Fischer Meats offers fantastic service and superior quality which is always a winning combination. more

You'll go crazy over the selection of meats this place has to offer. They have an excellent selection of sausages, steaks and chops, plus some of the best bacon you will ever taste. My wife and I have driven over to Issaquah just to stop in, visit the hatchery and buy something delicious to take home and cook. The price is right, and the quality is outstanding. Stop by if your in town, or drive thirty miles...it will be worth your time and gas. more
