These guys are scam artists! Stay away, they charged me $150 for a 5 minute service call and didn't even fix the problem.

Leaks in walls, hot water from toilet, ARRRGH!! 6/28/2005

I do not write bad reviews, but I would say watch out for them. They messed up the rough-in plumbing for our bathroom leading to having to put holes in the drywall to get to the pipes. Bad, bad bad! more

Expensive and Poor Customer Service. 5/31/2005

My mother used Fischer Plumbing and was not happy with them. She used them to start a project then decided to have another plumber come in to finish it. When she tried to resolve a billing issue she was told she would receive a phone call back from the owner and instead received a letter from a collection agency. She just finished getting a house ready to resell and has a list of great workers. I think this is the only party she would not recommend. more

Plumber was great, but they couldn't tell me how much it would cost 5/16/2005

I had a leak in my house last week and I called Fischer Plumbing at the recommendation above me and they were able to fit me in the same day. The Plumber was on time, which was amazing! He fixed the leak temporarily and helped me understand what I needed to do for the real fix (which he didn't have parts for because my house is very old). He was very empathic about the situation and seemed to be "on my side" in hoping there wasn't a big problem. The 2 things I didn't like were that he couldn't give me any upfront estimate of what it would cost and even when he was finished he couldn't tell me the cost, I had to wait for the bill. That said, I think the cost was pretty reasonable. The second thing is that I couldn't always get the same plumber working with Fischer, which makes me nervous, but then, I don't like seeing different doctors when mine is out either. more

I've never used these guys. But if I had a need for a plumber this is who I'd call. I've heard good things about them. more

Solid plumbing services 7/5/2004

Fischer plumbing is our plumber.We don't love them -- We like them. They aren't the cheapest guys in town -- but they're responsive and generally do a decent job. more
