First med is an excellent resource for those who need quick attentive medical care but who don't need the emergency room. You can drop in any time without an appointment. My doctor's office always has long waits but First Med always gets you in quickly. They have three or four doctors there, all of whom are really helpful and care about the patients even though you don't have a history with them. Be ware that you generally will have a higher co-pay through your insurance because it is viewed as "emergency" care. That said I can't recommend First Med enough.
