I've been using 1st Health since 2004. I've been a user of chiropractic for more than 18 years now.
I came here looking for their hours of operation, but couldn't find them here.
I did choose this chiropractor initially BECAUSE they were open so many hours during the week unlike many chiro's in the area.
Unlike the other person who posted to this chiro, I fully understand why Chiropractors need patients to come back on a regular basis (especially NEW patients). It's because once 'damage' is done to the spinal system, your muscles quickly tighten around your spinal column and work to hold it 'out of wack' (per se). Repetitive returns in the beginning are needed in an effort to keep the spine in the 'correct' spot, and not let the muscles continue to keep it out of wack. (for lack of a better ""technical"" term). Once someone has gotten past their initial readjustment period, they can easily move to weekly, bi-monthly, (or as in my case)..whenever you can tell that you need it. (about every 4-6 weeks).
Have always felt these guys did a great job.
They have always been willing to simply do my adjustments (I have an HSA card health care setup), and their 'fee' for a simple adjustment has always been very reasonable.
At times, I've gone a bit too long between adjustments, and really needed some therapy to loosen me up for the adjustment or to relax me afterwards, and they simply charged me just a tad more for it.
Usually when I wait too long between adjustments, it means I'm back in there in about two weeks to somewhat 'go back to' my shorter adjustment period to help my spine stay in alignment.
Much like the front end on a vehicle, it only takes some minor jarring to knock the average person's spine out of 'wack'....especially if there's been trauma from an accident or other issue.
I give these guys 5 thumbs up! Again, I've been a patient with them since 2004 (after a fall from a ladder while making repairs from our hurricanes...I knew it was time to get back in and get put back right!).
Go check them out for yourself.
And NEVER let a chiro adjust you without giving you Xrays to begin with! (no quality Chiro would anyway!)
