First Day Natural Lighting

I had a solar attic fan, more attic vents, and a solatube/bathroom fan combination installed. Both Kevin and Donna were very friendly and helpful in answering my many questions. Kevin went above and beyond when the current lack of ventilation into the attic was revealed. The extra light in the bathroom was surprising at first but I quickly got used to it and am looking forward to having one or more installed in other areas of my house as soon as I can. more

We got First Day Natural Lighting's card at the fair, and my brother-in-law had some skylights installed by them. We had been thinking about getting one and finally decided to have First Day come on over to do it. The man who installed it was very efficient. We are definitely satisfied with our skylight. more

We had Solatubes installed in our home in California years ago and love the product, so when I contacted First Day Natural LIghting I didn't need to be sold on the product. Kevin & Donna Yount own the business--Donna handles the office & Kevin does the installation/sales. Both are professionals in every sense of the word. Kevin came out and explained the new product line (Solatube with LED lights) and gave us an estimate. Because I wasn't familiar with the LED tube, I wanted to see it for myself to determine if it would work for us and where in our home would be a good place to install it. I drove to the showroom and Donna showed me the LED tube that they installed and helped me determine the best location for it. When Kevin came to install the 4 tubes, he arrived promptly and worked all day (12 hours) to complete the installation! He was considerate about our flooring and wore booties to cover his shoes. He cleaned up after himself, too. After trying the LED light for a couple of days I asked Kevin to come out and move the motion sensor, which he did without charge. I highly recommend Solatube and First Day Natural Lighting! more

This is our second installation, and the work was timely, courteous and well done. I highly recommend First Day and the Solatube product to anyone who loves natural light. more

Donna and Kevin installed two Solar tubes and two Attic fans. Both are excellent products. My wife really loves the new welcomed light into kitchen and family room. I am hoping for better electric bills this coming summer, as the Solar fans will help cool the house, by pulling the heat out of the attic. more
