I took my truck to Firestone for a vibration during acceleration that was shaking my truck noticeably. I asked them to check the U joints and other parts underneath and was told they were fine. \r

I was told that my tires, which only had 10,000 miles on them, were bad and needed to be replaced. After $1,000 dollars, they gave me my truck back with new tires, $300 more for an alignment, and a vibration problem that was worse then before they started. I was told that they guessed the tires were not the problem. They then guessed it was the transmission was the problem and i should take it to a transmission place for repair. After 5 minutes at AAMCO transmission, they determined I needed new U joints and $248 dollars later, the problem was fixed.\r

During this ordeal, the vibration caused my dash to become damaged because the vibration got so bad. Not only is Firestone unethical in selling me things I did not need, they refused to deal with the cracked dash board as well. These people will never touch my truck again and I will tell everyone I know to stay as far away from them as possible. I have never been so disgusted with an organization before in my life.
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Unethical. Poor customer service. Scare tactic selling.
