I brought my car in for an oil change and was planning on selling in a few short weeks. I let them no that when I brought it in. I said, ""I am not going to put anymore money into the car, I am selling it. I only want the oil change"". They removed my serpentine belt that was fraying and refused to put it back on because it was too ""damaged"" to put back on. They wanted $150 to put a new one on. They made me sign a waiver to drive my now ""unsafe"" car off the lot and were very rude to me. more

Everytime I went in for an oil change or a minor issue, they tried to sell me at least $400 worth of service I already had done. Definitely untrustworthy managers at his location. Their business model is all about selling additional services. Learned my lesson. I stopped to get a slow leak in my tire repaired. I asked if they would also take a look in the brakes, because the check engine light was coming on when I pressed the brake pedal and I thought maybe a wire was caught. The guy seemed annoyed that I was bothering him, and told me it was absolutely impossible that the check engine light would come on when the brake pedal was pressed because they are not related. I asked well, could he please just repair the tire (I didn't like being either called a liar or stupid). He said it would be 45 mins (there was only one other car in the four bays) and would cost $23. I've never paid more than $8 to fix a flat, and most places do it for free in the hopes you'll buy tires there in the future. I said I would find somewhere else!!
