Firestone Complete Auto Care

I had a flat tire before work tis morning and found these guys on Google Maps. They were the only shop open @ 7:30 AM & close to my house so I went. After it taking over an hour to patch my tire when I was first in line they the proceeded to inform me the cost was almost $20! When I questioned the tech (Bruce) assisting me he was very rude and said it costs that much because they do it right. I have never paid more than $6 for a tire patch, which most places do for free...anyone can get a great used tire for $25 so why the hell are they charging $20 for a patch??? Needless to say based on my experience & the other reviews I have read, I will not be taking my vehicle there again & I don't reccomend anyone else does either! more

I've had a few alignments done at this Firestone location over the last few years with middling to poor results. The first couple of times I took my cars there, it took multiple visits before they got it right. For example, "Oh, they must have forgotten to tighten the bolts on . . ." said the manager after the second visit.\r \r In addition, twice now they've tried to scam me into buying parts (and the associated labor) that I already have. Specifically, they've tried twice to charge me to install camber bolts, claiming that they have never been installed on my vehicle. However, it's plain as day that I already have them installed.\r \r They have also tried to sell me many hundreds of dollars' worth of steering linkage parts that I don't need, claiming my old ones are worn out. I had a coupon for a free oil and filter change. I made an appointment for the oil change, and when I dropped off my car, I was informed that it would be ready in an hour and fifteen minutes. When I returned, they hurriedly pulled my car into the garage and began the oil change. I was surprised that they were just *now* beginning, and none of the employees seemed to think there was anything wrong with this. Everyone treated me disrespectfully, and it's good that I did not have to pay for the service. An hour and fifteen minutes is a long time to wait for simply an oil change; I ended up waiting an hour and forty-five minutes and was late to work. Offering a complimentary oil change is not a good way to attract customers if they are going to be treated second-rate. more

I love the service that they have here! They know what you are tlaking about right on the spot! I want to see it to be crowded when I come back... so I know that what I say is true! more
