I've been a customer at this Firestone for several years and was happy with their work and customer service...until now. I recently took my car in for an oil change and alignment on a Sunday around 1:30pm. I walked in to find a non employee (looked like Slim Shady) behind the counter (first red flag). When the employee came in from the back he asked if he could help me, but his tone and actions indicated that he didn't care (second red flag). Anyway, I was told my car would be ready by 5:00 PM (closing time). I left my car there and returned promptly at 5:00 PM to find that they hadn't even started on my car. They didn't call, worse they didn't say they were sorry. In fact, the guy at the counter said that they were about to start on my car and that it would be ready in 10-15 minutes. My husband drove me back to Firestone, so neither I (or he) were in a position to wait. Also, I'm not a mechanic, but I know that a quality oil change and alignment take longer than 15 minutes. So this guy had told me 2 lies that afternoon. He had this whole air about him that he didn't care about helping me...rather yucking it up with Slim Shady. I told him to forget it and give me my keys. I left very frustrated. Again, no sorry from anyone at Firestone! I went outside and told my husband what happened. He and I returned and my husband asked the guy at the counter why my car wasn't ready when promised. The counter guy said that there were unexpected issues that occurred. My husband inquired ""what kind on unexpected issues""? The employee wouldn't answer, in fact he walked away from us. My husband then asked ""who is the manager, is he working today?"", the guy threw his business card at my husband. My husband then asked for the manager's home phone number. The guy laughed and responded sarcastically ""I'm not giving you that, who are you..the mayor? "". After being provoked and harassed, my husband did raise his voice but never cursed. Slim Shady did proceed to offer a couple of ""F...you"" to us. After that we left and will never be back. My husband wrote the corporate Firestone office. They responded the next day with a phone call from Mr Tom Mocny (Asst District Manager) who proceeded to tell my husband that HE verbally abused their employee. Not one mention of being sorry for the incident. I wouldn't do business with these people if they were the only auto service station within 50 miles. Fortunately for us we have a lot of options in the Coppell and DFW area. Take your automobile to be serviced by someone who values your business. Don't give these guys your hard earned money!!!!!
