Firestone Complete Auto Care

i hate to write a bad review about a company like firestone, but after many years, i had to write this. for many years, i would take my cars to firestone for a safety inspection, and i noticed a pattern. every two years, they would always fail me saying my tires needed replacing; which i thought very little of it. they would always sell me the 60,000 mile tires. we drive approximately 6000 to 8000 miles a year (close drive to work). the past 2 years, firestone failed me saying i had to replace my tires this is 1 year in between intervals same 60k warranty. i got a little suspicious and went to firestone, and they again failed me for tires. i then took my car to Windward Honda, and they passed me with no problems. I asked about the tires, and the service manager said it had ""plenty of tread"". I can no longer take my car here. more

Don't take your car here unless you have ALL day to wait. I took my car in for an oil change at 7:30am. They told me my car would be ready in 2 hours. My car wasn't ready until after 12 noon! This isn't the first time. If I didn't have a lifetime alignment package with Firestone, I would switch. Absolutely unacceptable service. more

I will never go back to a place that tries to rip people off and sell them things that they don't need. I took my car in for a safety inspection, which I paid up front for, and they didn't pass me because they said that I needed knew tires. I asked my father who is very knowledgable about cars and he said that I didn't need tires and that they were trying to sell me tires that I didn't need. When I asked for a refund from Firestone because I wasn't getting a safety inspection, they wouldn't give me one. I took my car to another safety inspection place and they passed me right away. When I went back to Firestone to ask for a refund, they gave me one and I thought the incident was done, only to find out that they later called DMV to report the other safety inspection place. \r I do not respect any business that is not going to try to sell you something that you don't need so that they can make a profit or turn other businesses in for not doing ""their job"" when the other business is doing a better job then them. \r I will never go back there and I encourage everyone else not to, unless you like being taken advantage of, which I am sure no one does.\r Pros: Nothing Cons: Trying to rip people off by selling people tires they don't need more
