Firestone Complete Auto Care

I have done business with this Firestone for years. I have never had a problem with them. They have always done excellent work, and in fact they don't charge me for the little things. Just yesterday the AAA told me my alternator was broken, and needed to be replaced. Firestone checked the alternator and determined that it was fine. They replaced three fuses in my dash and only charged me for one of them- $6.95. They saved me hundreds of dollars. more

In 2003, I've changed a battery here for about 105 dollars..\r Battery was 79 dollars and the rest was labor and battery check cost.\r The stupid thing about me is that I went there again for a battery replacement.\r It was late 2006, and it was an emergency, so I just went there.\r They asked for about 40 dollars for battery check, so I said no and asked to just replace the battery.\r At this point I should have asked the price..\r I thought naively that the price would be around 80 dollars.\r After they replaced it, they asked for about 110 something dollars.\r I was so mad about them and myself..\r The battery itself was 89 dollars... I talked about my visit in 2003 and the guy said the battery priced might have increased..(In walmart, only 50~60 bucks..) with a disgusting wierd smile.. I really wanted to punch that face. more
