I work for Capital Roofing an Insurance Restoration company. I had a customer that had a marble fireplace that had been damaged by water leaking in after a storm, so I needed to find a good company to Sub-contract the work to. I called all the Marble and granite businesses that were accredited by the BBB in the Charlotte area, and Fireplace and Granite Dist. seemed to have the best customer service and were very knowledgable on the phone. My Customer and I met one of thier sales reps out at my customer's house the following day. The rep did an outstanding job, she brought several samples and answered our questions in detail. She worked hard to help my customer find exactly what she was looking for. During the removal of the old fireplace surround The origional builder of the house had used hidden scraps of wood to chim up the slabs of marble. Rather than taking the same "shortcut", Fireplace and Granite Dist. went back to the shop and re-cut 2 new pieces of stone from the same slab. As a contractor myself I looked very closely at the finished product and I was very impressed with thier workmanship. The new job was installed properly, the seams and lines look very small, straight, and Crisp. My Customer was extremely happy with the finished product and so am I. Thanks guys! more

I came to them for my kitchen countertops remodel after I saw their work in a friends kitchen. The before and after was truly amazing! At their granite countertops yard they have a lot of granite slabs in stock. The quality in the materials is very easy to see. I am very pleased with my own granite countertops remodel! This was a great expirence for me and my wife. We came in and did not have a clue what to do with our kitchens. Each member of the staff was friendly, patient and helped us along! We chose our cabinets, granite and tile over the course of three visits. Everything was installed a few weeks later -- it is all VERY OUTSTANDING. I will be sending anyone I know their way! Everyone at this granite shop is very friendly. When we came by, they gave our children coloring books and crayons to play with while me and my husband looked at the granite slabs. We came on a Saturday and found the perfect granite slab for our kitchen!! We put a deposit down to hold the granite and scheduled our template and install the same day, which was great, because I am a big planner. A few other companies I talked to didn't even want to give me a estimaed date until I paid more than half -- some wanted payment in FULL before the granite was even installed! The template went great and then finally to the install -- the finished product is PERFECT. If anyone wants photos, just email me and I will send them to you! The granite looks so beautiful and it compliments my ENTIRE home. I am going to be selling my home in a few years and I know this will help it on the market!! I have already had several friends over to look at my brand new kitchen and they are so excited to have theirs done too!! :) Thanks again, everything was PERFECT!!!
