Worst

Prices are ridiculous and all the fish I've purchased over time here never survived for more than a month in my reef tank..Sad..Never again. Cons: Poor unhealthy fish

Best fish store in town 5/14/2011

I've been shopping @ fins &Friends since they were on 16th and Glendale. Mark and Lisa are the most helpful and easiest to get along with of any shop owners I know. I've had reef tanks, salt swim tanks, freshwater and a pond. These two have given me the best advice and the best fish of anyone. They do free water tests to ensure that their hand caught fish live, and they do. I bought an Emperator Angel before it matured. It grew to be an amazing show fish when I finally broke down my tank and gave it back to Fins n Friends. It out grew my tank. It is true that this is not a good shop for fools. If you are disagreeable and like to argue, there are better stores for you. more

Great Reviews Are Right! 3/24/2011

After being in the hobby for 3 years I was searching online for a new fish store to call home. Reading the great reviews I tried this shop & WOW, the reviews were right. Great Selection, Incredibly low prices compared to what I have been paying at the 3 stores I have used for years & friendly people with alot of know how. I'm HOOKED!!! more

WOW, ARE WE TALKING ABOUT THE SAME STORE 12/5/2009

Mark & Lisa run the best shop in town. Their shop is clean, their fish are fed daily, by the way they only sell handcaught saltwater fish which are always in great health & condition. If you are having problems it's probadly shopping all over town, bringing disease into your tank from another source, I'm sure it's not here. Also, Mark & Lisa are wonderful people with unbelievable ethics, so if you are so misrable that you find this charming store unlikable, I'm glad I'm not a fish at your house!!!! Pros: Very friendy & Very knowlegable!!!! Cons: Not open Sundays more

Morons 10/15/2009

This store is pretty lame. I needed a true nitrifying bacteria and actually was offered one of the silliest, most overpriced gimmiks available on the market. If you need expertise and a broader knowledge base than just scooping fish out of a tank, go anywhere else. If they don't know biology then I can't see how they stay in business. Not the biggest, but the best! 11/11/2007

I have found this shop to be extremely clean. It isn't the largest shop in town, but it has a wide variety of marine creatures. The owners are very conversational and helpful. I have been provided as much information as I wanted regardless of whether I was even going to make a purchase that day or not. I now do all of my fish shopping there, even though I pass several other shops on the way. The service is just that much better. It is very easy to see that they love their work and the fish they sell. Pros: Service, central location, variety Cons: Limited floor space more
