I feel somewhat dishonest giving this place such a favorable rating with one star, when what it really deserves is zero. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had at a spa before, and especially one that seems to exude professionalism by its exterior. I am not one to fork out the cash for pricey manicure/pedicures, but seeing as I was getting married the next day and had our wedding dinner that night, I resolved that this was the ideal time to spend a little bit more on my nails. Granted, the technician that was doing my manicure was fully aware of the important upcoming events and continued to slosh the otherwise thick, gloopy O.P.I. sloppily across my fingernails to my shagrin. At first I figured, no need to worry! I've had french's before where they go back and tidy up a job that originally looked like it was executed by a four year old! But as time kept ticking (the manicure took over an hour, total), I quickly realized that my technician had no intention of going back and correcting the already-smudged, too-thick, bubbling white lines across the tips of my nails. On top of this, she finished out my otherwise juvenile manicure by slathering a coat of nude polish overtop the smudged white lines, which turned these lines a dirty, yellowish-brown hue. By the end of this time-intensive experience, I was escorted down into a cave that resembled an operating room, where the technician proceeded to coat my toenails in a polish that also immediately started to bubble. Although I had originally intended on having a french pedicure as well, I decided to go with a simpler request after seeing the mangled condition of my fingernails. I trudged out of the spa with my sloppy fingernails and toenails (after forking up a gift certificate for the pedicure and $30 for the manicure), only to meet my fiance who quickly directed me back inside to demand a refund. This may have been the only mildly-positive experience of the day - when one of the other technicians took me back into the room again and proceeded to remove all of the polish which had taken the other technician 2+ hours to apply. Unfortunately, the next application was not much better than the first, and was something that I could have easily done by myself, at home, for free - because the color that she applied looked like I didn't have any polish on my nails at all. She only refunded half of the manicure and wouldn't give me anything back for the pedicure. All in all this was a time-intensive, extremely overpriced, horrible-quality manicure/pedicure that I will NEVER return for, ever again. I could have easily done a better job myself, or paid $20 for a manicure at the local Vietnamese salon that would have lasted for a week and looked beautiful in the wedding pictures, when instead I had to resort to the worst white-person spa experience I've ever had.
