Finished For $14

I hired his company based on Todd's reputation. Not some billboard or newspaper ad. He shot straight with me during the presentation of his company. He told me point blank, ""that if it's not good enough to go in my house, it's not good enough to go in yours. If the tile guy installs something incorrectly, I will have him rip it out and do it again. I won't compromise the quality of my work and my reputation for money."" I wrote that down word for word during his presentation. I didn't need to hear anything else. Having gone through his company's process to finish my basement, he is a man of his word. On a side note, I didnt care for the sheetrock installer. He was a little rough around the edges. But overall, things went really well. more

I was pleasantly surprised with how well things went. They did a good job communicating with me and I appreciated the walk thru appointments. AJ and Wendy worked well with my wife and they brainstormed some really cool things to do. I was glad I hired them. They were honest and fair about extra charges for things that were above our contract. I have already referred them with pride to a few people on facebook. \r more

I was nervous at first because their price was really too good. But when everything was said and done, my basement looked like the parade of homes! I would highly recommend them. more

I had Finished for 14 come out and give us a bid on our basement. We decided to go with them even though they weren't the cheapest. And they certainly weren't the most expensive. We liked the fact that they had a professional appearance to them, it just seemed like they had it together more than the other companies we called out. We came to trust them and knew they would be around in the coming years take care of any warranty issues. The process went well. The only delay in particular was difficult because it had to do with our city taking forever to get the permit. Either way, the boys did a good job for us. I only wish they did decks too! more

I found Finished For 14 through the Web and talked to Bob through emails and then phone calls. I have found him to be very thorough, and responsive. He has a great ability to think outside the box for projects. He was able to customize a job that required research and thinking into a great package for me. I have recommended him to others in my neighborhood and at work and I believe they are finding the same great service. Furthermore, I have found his billing for services rendered very fair and reasonable. What else can I say? If you need basement services, I would really recommend Bob. more

I had given up on getting my basement finished. I had several bids with several gentlemen that only wanted to do what they wanted to do with my basement and really couldn?t care what I wanted. I came across finishedfor14?s ad in hometown values and decided to try one more company. My initial thought was that there was no way a company could do a basement for $14 a foot. When bob got to my house, he listened to what I wanted and explained to me that the $14 a foot is a starting package. He explained that their quality is better than most companies out there and that they use all the same products. They are not installing ?lumber for DI!!? He wrote everything down and then made a few suggestions as to how it could all be accomplished with my budget and my space. He showed me pictures of some of the work the have done and even invited me to an open house they were having in a week at one of their basements. He really made me feel so, so, special. I loved getting his thank you card a few days later. His bid was almost 20k less than this deaf competition. Thanks guys for a great experience!! Will refer lots of friends to you. more

I found Finished for 14 online while doing research to finish our basement. I called at 8:00 at night and they picked up. Todd asked me a few questions and took my information down. I got a call back from Bob the next day and we set up an apnt. When he came out for the bid he answered all my questions and even gave me some great ideas that i had never even thought of. He then came back the next day with a printed up estimate and I was able to go through the pricing with him. He worked with me to get me into my budget. I told him that I needed to get with my husband and I would get back to him. A few days later, a recieved a handwritten thank you card in the mail! He was thanking me for my time and the opportunity to meet with him. Wow! He called back the following week to see how I was doing and if i had any questions. I told him we were waiting for 2 other bids to come back. They never came back. Either way, our choice was made up. We called him up and set up and apnt for him to come back out and write the contract. He brought his son, Todd, and they sat at our dining room table and typed out the details of our basement with us and printed it right there. The next day, i recieved an email from Todd with a plan that laid out all my power outlets, and lights, and everything else that i could have thought of. I had some changes and Todd fixed them the same day and I approved the final layout. The next day the lumber showed up and the framers began. A few days later, Todd set up and apnt to go through all my colors. He brought samples of everything. The initial work process was fast, but was slowed down by my city. They took 2 weeks to get the permit finished. After that the sheetrockers and tapers came in, then the carpenters and tilers, then the painters. The process flew by. Without my city holding it up, it probably would have been 5-6 weeks start till finish. Im glad i went with the Cella Family. They did a wonderful job for me. I would recommend them to anyone. Plus, I get a $25 gift certificate everytime I open up my basement to show to a potential customer of theirs. They've taken good care of me from start to finish. more

After hearing horror stories about unscrupulous contractors or subpar craftmanship, we were nervous about all the stress that can go into finishing a basement. After working with Finished for 14, I can honestly say that we have had a great experience, no stress. The layout and functionality of our basement is better than we could have imagined and the finishing touches and ""prettiness"" factor of the cabinets, moldings, fireplace and railings are excellent. We always felt comfortable having the work crews in our home as they went about their business in a professional manner. We were also thrilled when the project came in on budget, and we weren't continually nickled and dimed as the project evolved. If any problem arose (which they occasionally do) Brian and Todd were quick to resolve the issue. Our basement is the new hangout for the family and the whole neighborhood. The project was right on budget! During the construction process, we primarily worked with Todd and Brian. They were easy to contact and always gave us an immediate call back if we left a message. Nobody ever tried to talk us out of changes or make decisions for us during the construction process. They left us in complete control of design changes and made helpful recommendations for improving the layout.
