I have been getting chemical peels for a while now and was very pleasantly surprised by the efficacy, affordability and results of the peels I have had at this salon. Laura is neverendingly pleasant and knows her stuff. I am incredibly careful when it comes to people/products/services for my skin and Laura is one of the few who almost instantly warranted my trust. Try Laura, the Esthetician at this salon. She gives relaxing, yet thorough facials with a great product- ""Essence"" all natural and organic from Hungary. I see her regularly for waxing- she is quick, efficient and makes you feel comfortable when waxing the nether regions. She gets everything- with surprisingly very little pain. I have so many amazing things to say about this salon and the truly sweet people who work there. I came into Joe Hamer the end of feb 07 and was greeted by the friendliest and sweetest people. I've know Tom since earily may of 2006 and i had'nt had the chance to make it to Petaluma from my home in Los angeles. i made a special trip one weekend to come and meet with Joe and Tom. two people who's talent is just as big as their hearts. this salon refelects every thing they represent. \r Not only is the salon beautiful, clean, and a great atmosphere by the people they have working( more like sharing the talent) with are wonderful! I gave Joe Hamer the power to do what they do best, create. i let them cut my hair and dye it to what they felt fit my personality and complimented my looks. they did all that and more. Josh is the man. Finally decided to put extensions in my hair. Josh convinced me that the quality of the hair and the expertise of the person who bonds the extensions is what gives you the final result. Used to see Anaise At the salon. She transformed me into the person I am today. Never did I get so many compliments about my hair cut and color. Saw Tiffany this time as Anaise is on maternity leave. I have been going to Joe Hamer Beyond Hair since the day they opened in Petaluma. Without a doubt, Petaluma women look better ever since. My hair is blond and they know how to refine blond hair. Several stylist have colored and cut my hair and you can see that every one of them was trained by Joe Hamer. It is good to know that when my regular stylist is sick or on vacation that I can see other ones and still feel safe and comfortable. What a difference from previous facials at other places. Afterwards I signed up for a scalptreatment. I've been to many salons throughout the bay area and this is the first time where i couldn't have been happier with the final result. Joe Hamer gave me hilites and a hair cut and I am just completely amazed. I've never been so impressed by such a beautiful transformation. I am so in love with my hair. This is the first salon that I know of to have a scalp treatment room. The scalp treatment room is a relaxing oasis of beautiful smells and technology. The treatment is like a facial for the scalp, exfoliating dean skin. You can also watch the treatment on a screen while it's taking place. The salon is such a relaxing and pampering experience and I would recommend it to anyone who appreciates extraordinary hair. more
