Dr. F-S's care and attention to detail saved my son's life. She sent me for a level II ultrasound "just to be sure" due to some complications in my pregnancy. There I was diagnosed with vasa previa. She managed my care perfectly even though there is no "standard of care" for vp. I was hospitalized, monitored and 6 weeks later gave birth to a healthy son via C-section, who without that diagnosis would have bled to death in minutes upon my water breaking. Had she not been concered for our well being, I would not have my son with me here today. more

Awesome Doctor!!! 10/28/2008

My husband's job relocated us from LA. I was driving and/or flying back to my ob/gyn in Baton Rouge b/c I wasn't satisfied with the referrals that I'd received for the Houston area. Upon my final referral, I decided to try Dr. Finley-Smith. I am soooooo glad that I did. Her staff is AWESOME and she is WONDERFUL, PATIENT, PROFESSIONAL, yet DOWN-To-EARTH. Her assistants are prompt to return phone calls, etc. EXCELLENT BEDSIDE MANNER! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Satified Patient more

Great doctor!! 10/21/2008

My 17 year old daughter had an emergency situation that required surgery. Dr. Findley-Smith was the dr at the hosp. She was so informative and helpful and kind. My daughter was completely comfortable. Dr Findly Smith saved my daughters ovary without a big scar. It was alot of work for her to do it the way she did it- but she was so concerned about my daughter at this very tender age. I really appreciate her. more

An excellent dr 4/15/2006

This is my first pregnancy and Dr Joi has just been wonderful. We've had a few complications and her office has always called me back quickly and are so responsive. Everyone on staff is so nice. Dr Joi is really personable and she puts you at ease. She shares her own experiences with you to make you feel better as well. And the office is absolutely filled with pictures of babies she's deliverd. more
