Huge variety in a tiny space 3/13/2009

This is my favourite yarn shop in the area, because the yarn fills the shop from the floor to the ceiling, and there's a good variety of lace-weight yarns, import yarns, and artist yarns I've never found elsewhere. Also, the shop lady remembers me, and always helps out when I have questions about yarns they carry.\r \r The only thing I wish is that I didn't usually work during their open hours. more

Crowded & Poor Quality 4/4/2008

I visited this shop when I first learned to spin. The shop is very crowded and it's hard to find things. I purchased a fleece while there. When I took it home and tried to spin it I found the wool was very brittle and broke. Not a pleasant experience. I never went back. more

Rewarding Visit 8/2/2006

I have been meaning to visit this shop for sometime and finally made it today. I was in "eye candy heaven" the minute I walked to the door. This has been my most rewarding yarn shop visit ever. They have EVERYTHING to make the most beautiful knit projects. I had such a nice time visiting with shop lady Cathy and sharing ideas. I will be returning many many times in the future. A little knitting, you say? 6/9/2005

Fibers, etc. has an amazing selection of beautiful yarn to choose from! I love this place. Their staff is friendly and helpful as well, which always helps. Location is nice since they have a cute little restaurant called Over the Moon and another store called Ruby's on the same block. It is a bit pricey, but I'm learning that just about every yarn shop is. PROS: location, staff CONS: cost more
