With only one foot in the building, Mickey could immediately tell that my glasses needed some major adjustments, and didn't even have to ask me what the problem was--just took them off my head and into the back to fix them. It was amazing! Even though I was hyper-sensitive to the adjustment in light of all of the problems my glasses had incurred from before, Mickey remained charming and patient with my every adjustment request. The entire experience was awesome--my glasses were fixed beautifully (I was absolutely astonished at how well he adjusted them, after they had been so poorly treated at other places), and he genuinely cared about my well-being. He was so personable and warm that my anxiety about being too picky about the adjustments or that I was taking too much time didn't seem to bother him at all. I would definitely recommend him, for anyone with glasses or contacts, as I plan to return to him to have my lenses re-done in my glasses as well as for contacts in the future. Also, my ophthalmologist described how the lenses Mickey uses in glasses give him the best vision he's ever had, so I can't wait to try them soon! more

Not knowing anything more than the address and hours of operation, I stopped in late one afternoon to see what I might find. What I found was Mickey. Extremely professional and courteous, Mickey made me feel at home right off the bat. Instead of giving me the cursory ""hello"" and brushing me off (as you find at other places), he took me under his wing and went on a search for the perfect pair of glasses. Not finding the right fit that day, Mickey went out of his way to order frames especially for me--I didn't have to do any of the hard work. Moreover, he was straightforward with me regarding the shape, color and fit that I needed?in other words, he won?t let you walk out of the shop in a pair of glasses that aren?t flattering just to make a buck. After a few weeks, we finally found the perfect pair. Affordable, comfortable and high quality, I couldn?t have asked for a better pair of glasses or a better shopping experience. Not only is this the best set of both glasses and contacts that I have had in my 10 years of glasses wearing, but the experience was SO quick and painless! I had many self doubts due to a bad 1st experience, and years of struggling through glasses that just weren't right. My fight has ended and I am ecstatic....I can see and, shop without feeling queasy from imperfect lenses.
