Editorial review from Citysearch 8/13/2013

My maiden last name was Cheatham. My parents started Meal On A Bun when I was just a youngster.. I worked for my parents, Sidney and Felicia Cheatham, (the original owners, who built this business) when I was a young girl, at MOAB. I was about 12 yrs old. I was glad to see this on the web. Both my parents have died, and I am 72 yrs old, now. Fun to see that MOAB is still in business. My parents thought up the name, also taking the short version from the Bible. Land of MOAB :) Very interesting to see this place still in operation :) more

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. 11/1/2008

Fast Eddies has been in business since 1952. The original owner sold it to Fast Eddie's mother who owned the restaurant for what I believe was about ten years. Fast Eddie has owned and operated it ever since the mid seventies. He cooks everyday and spend the majority of his time there. The prices may seem a little high until you try the food. It's absolutely amazing. I would eat there everyday if I could. The menu is vast and the quality is consistent. The staff is amazing; they are ready and willing to help you with anything you need... and they do it all with a smile and a genuine personality, unlike most corporations. There are tons of regular customer's who have been coming in for numerous years. The dining room is full of fun and interesting things to look at like antiques, photographs and a huge fish tank with some very unusual inhabitants. All in all this is the best place to eat in town. I would recommend it to everyone i know. PLEASE TRY IT!! You will love it, I can guarantee. Pros: amazing service, family friendly, ambience, everything. Cons: none come to mind. more

Craving for the BEST BURGER.....n' things? 1/8/2008

This place deserves stellar reviews! I'd give it 10 stars but they only allow 5. I'm from out of town and I would travel 100 miles to have lunch or dinner here. Someone else complained about the prices, but come on, its a privately owned place, there is only ONE Fast Eddie's, and the owner/chef, ""Fast "", is always there himself cooking, which means you know you are getting the best quality he will deliver. He knows many of his regulars by first name, many have been coming in for over 25 years! The place has GREAT food, and you simply won't find a better burger. There are lots of other tasty items to try; chicken, philly steak, fried mushrooms and zucchini, spicy chicken sandwiches....seriously, you be coming back in a few days for more! My only problem is that I crave it too often. Moab's was great when my parents were my age and it still rocks! GO FAST EDDIE!!! ""Builds better burgers n' things!"" more

Still the Best Burger in Town 12/27/2007

Fast Eddie's still makes the best burger in town! It's juicy and flavorful and you can get it with cheese, bacon, even mild green chilis....yum! If you'd like something other than a burger (the menu is lengthy), try the Philly steak sandwich or the Chicken Philly sandwich. Both are served on a French roll and you won't go away hungry. The fries are really good. You know you're eating potatoes. The shakes are handmade with real ice cream. The food is of great quality and consistent. Service is friendly, fast, and made to order. There's lots to look at in the dining room, even a huge aquarium with some pretty awesome fish. Fast Eddie has a few video games in the back dining room and two cable t.v.s where you can catch the news, sports broadcasts, The History Channel, or whatever else might be showing. You can also enjoy dining outdoors or take your order to go. Pricing is fair in this competitive market with so many burger chains. Fast Eddie's is no ordinary burger joint. Oh yes, love the neon! more

overrated, overpriced, and the staff overly friendly with each other!!!! 12/12/2007

wow has this place gone down hill. i would not recomend it to anyone unless you are intopaying way too much for a dry burger. I think that all the neon red lights on the outside of the place are being paid for by the over priced meals. I left craving Mcdonald's. the staff is a little too friendly with......enough said Check out scenic or sno white if you want a real burger in a clean atmosphere. Although I do give Moab's a thumbs up on the decor more
