Great food, Big Elwood is to die for. You can not beat the prices on the food. We go all the time with a group or just the two of us. Always have a good time. Pros: Cheap food

The food is cheap and decent, the shrimp are good, but I have to agree with others that the waitresses remind me of a car salesman hovering over you before your drink is even half...

Probablly the coolest place on the planet, Fast Eddie's is the place to go with a group of friends and let the hustle and bustle of Downtown St Louis fly out the window.( you can also ride with your helmet off, though not for everyone ) I work Downtown and if I could go to fast Eddie's everyday for lunch. I would be the happiest guy alive. The live music will have you shakin like a dog shitin a peach seed. more

Cheap food, lots of fun, always crowded 4/3/2006

This place has great cheap food with burgers, shrimp, and the Big Elwood. The beer is cheap too and always ice cold. They’ve usually got music and the crowd is always entertaining. But if you're gonna go, though, go early because they fill up fast and people stay all night. more

Great food, great drinks, great fun 3/23/2006

The food at Fast Eddie's is great and what an awesome price. $1.09 for a 1/2 lb cheeseburger, 99 cents for a basket of fries, not to mention the Big Elwood on a stick and all the other great items at the food bar. Free popcorn is available several places around the bar, but beware it is salty very salty. The drinks are great however they are not cheap. If you're going to have a good time and not spend too much your best bet is probably bottles of beer. Get there early and stay late. Be prepared to stand, even with over 400 seats in the joint they fill fast and the turn-over on them is slow. The music is great, get up and dance along. more

Great food/bar 3/20/2006

Fast Eddie's is home to the $1 half-pound burger and it is so good that you'll wish you had room to eat another. The food is so incredibly cheap at Fast Eddie's, but I'm sure they make up for it in drink prices - and to eat the food, there is a one-drink minimum purchase. Still, no worries because it is a bar after all. There is always a very long wait for the food, no matter what time of day or night you go, but it's well worth it in the end because you won't ever find another cheap burger that is this good. They have a few other menu items that go well with bar drinks. Stop by on a Friday or Saturday night and even though the crowd will be shoulder to shoulder, you'll get to hear some great bands play. more

Cheap Eats 3/17/2006

If you live on the MO side of Saint Louis, Fast Eddie's is worth the drive. They have decent burgers for a dollar, as well as chicken wings and a few other items. Good if you're looking for cheap eats. They have live music, and a good variety of beers! I believe they just added Blue Moon on Tap. more
