Had Arbormax remove 13 trees from around my home. Some were very large and these folks did an outstanding job. They were very professional and took great care in removing the trees and clean-up of property when job was complete. Price was very good and I would use these folks again. I got estimates and these folks beat them all hands down. So do not waste time looking if you want the job done fast and at the best price. These folks have something which you do not see much anymore. "They care about their job and the customer". Had some minor grass or yard damage, but nothing a bag of grass seed cannot fix. Heck, they even offered to put down new seed. Great Team and Great Job!!!! Pros: Very Professional Cons: Some yard damage more

I have now had 61 trees removed from my property - Arbormax was hands down the BEST tree removal experience I have ever had. From start to finish, they were completely professional and responsible. They were the best of my three quotes, were fully insured, had three generations of tree experience and own their own equipment. When I called for a quote, they came out promptly. The day the work was to begin, not only did they show up on time, they showed up, geared up and ready to work. A team of six came to my house, with a crane, stump grinder, dump truck, bobcat, and shredder and they worked together like a fine symphony, fast and efficient. It was an incredible, amazing and impressive sight to behold. When they were done, not only did they blow off my roof, saving me the fee for paying someone to do it, they blew off my yard, saving my husband and I from the very tedious work of raking thousands of leaves and acorns to the street. In the end, they made sure I was completely satisfied. I would not hesitate to recommend them to everyone I know. I was thoroughly pleased and impressed with their professionalism and their work ethic - something that is sorely lacking in so many service industries. Just want to start by saying WOW! Very professional, very fast, VERY reasonably priced, and just flat out awesome. Had a 50 year old pine tree fall in inner beltline property where other companies told me I needed a crane to remove tree. Within less than two hours of arrival, tree was down, tree was removed, and everything was cleaned up to perfection, and oh yeah, NO CRANE WAS NEEDED! I take alot of pride in my yard so the last thing I wanted was for my yard to be messed up by people removing my tree. These guys might as well have floated through the air because nothing was disturbed. Folks, don't go with other companies. You will get your pockets picked. These guys were less than half the price of their competitors! Go with Arbormax, these guys are fast, professional, and very wallet conscious. Thanks Jim for a killer job well done! A huge oak tree fell on our house yesterday, so I called Arbormax after reading their ad in the yellow pages. Not knowing anything about this company in particular, I was desperate for someone to help me get this tree off the house. While we would have paid any price to get the job done, and were prepared for a big hassle from whomever showed up to take the job- we could not have been more pleasantly surprised by this company. Tim was in our back yard surveying the damage within 15 minutes of my phone call. They quoted us a totally reasonable price and were so professional and reassuring to us about the situation. One hour later they lifted that tree off the house and with surgical precision they safely hoisted it over the house and to the ground without damaging the house itself or any of our other trees or property. It was an amazing thing to watch. They were so thoughtful and professional in their dealings with us, and we will absolutely use them from now on and recommend them to all our friends and family as well. Although having a tree fall on your house is never a good thing, Arbormax made it as painless as possible. Thanks again to Tim and all his crew. (I wrote this review on another listing for Arbormax which I hope is the same business but this listing has the name and phone number I contacted) This is the first time I write a review on Citysearch but the level of service at Arbormax was so outstanding I was compelled to write a review. First of all communication with Tim Robbins was excellent which is very rare in the home improvement business, everytime I called him I got him and whenever he said he or his guys would be there, they were. The day of his estimate he had no problem bringing his price down to significantly beat the estimate I had received from another reputable tree company, he gave me no reason not to hire him. Next, came the day of the tree removal, I had lots of 'sticks' being removed and one mangled looking dogwood I wanted to save, even though working around the dogwood made the job harder for the guys they were painstakingly careful to protect it from the trees that were coming down. Then I had this one extraordinarily tall pine tree that this fearless guy climbed all the way up to trim down and while he was up there it started pouring! He stayed up there in the rain with his chainsaw until the job was done! Amazing! They cleared about 21 trees (skinny ones) in a couple of hours and the next day the stump grinder came and finished the job up. I highly recommend them. I wish more companies worked like this one.
