I can't recall ever hearing anyone say, ""I love to go to the dentist"".? Well, you are reading it now!? I love going to the dentist.? My teeth and gums have never been healthier. The minute you enter the office you are greeted like a friend and made to feel special.? Alicia sits at the front desk and has always been able to answer any questions, willing to go out of her way to find appointment dates that work for us, and never made me feel uncomfortable when I've had to cancel.? Joan, our dental hygienist is the best!!???She is so thorough with her cleanings, checking for any signs of a problem and all with a smile.? You know she cares about you.? She offers good advice that can make it easier for me to keep my teeth and gums healthy at home.? She is also very gentle.? Dr. Farhan Qureshi is wonderful.? He is very knowledgeable about the latest techniques and very good explaining in detail what he is doing and why.? He is also VERY gentle!? I had actually thought about changing my dentist and going with a participating provider because our insurance pays very little towards dental, but that was only a ""thought"".? He did all the implants for my broken teeth. My smile looks better than it ever did before. He is definitely the best implant specialist in town. more

My wife and I have been using the dental practice of Dr. Paul Zimmet and Dr. Farhan Qureshi since we moved to this area 10 years ago. We have had root canal work, cavities filled, and crowns applied. check-ups have been conveniently made and occasional emergency appointments immediately scheduled. The professional staff asks about problems we are having with our teeth and explain what they are doing. The result is that one feels confident. Dental work isn't the most pleasant experience; but our experience is that with absolutely minimal discomfort our problems have been resolved. The office staff is very friendly as are the technicians and the doctors. We have been completely satisfied with this practice and would recommend them without reservation. more

My dental appointment with Dr. Farhan M. Qureshi, D.D.S., of Alexandria Virginia, and his office staff was awesome! I can?t believe that I am saying awesome and dental appointment in the same sentence, but it was like a trip to the spa! Picture this? I?m sitting in a recliner and have a blanket to keep warm. (We all know how easy it is to get a chill in the doctor?s office.) I?m wearing shades, was given a vibrating pillow for my lower back, ear phones with my choice of music, (I have Tina Turner singing ?Your Simply the Best? in my ear.), drowning out the drilling noise as they chiseled away the plaques, not to mention I was given a squeeze foam grip to transfer stress from the most uncomfortable moments of the procedure. The next morning when I had to return to receive the second round of antibiotic treatment cleaning on the other side of my mouth, I was actually excited to go back! What a difference from other dentist appointments I have had! I feel so lucky to have found such progressive and compassionate dentistry. It has been a pleasure to have had Dr. Qureshi take over the practice from Dr. Zimmet. Our concerns have been erased once we heard Dr. Zimmet was retiring. Dr. Qureshi has great patient skills, steady and talented techniques in all aspects of dentistry. His vast knowledge and obvious educational skills are very apparent. We are so happy that we did not have to switch dentists! We love the entire staff and have been with Joan for over 30 years now. Dr. Qureshi did crowns for my four front, top teeth. The crowns are fantastic! They look amazingly natural. No one can tell they're crowns. Even when I point them out to friends they can't tell I've had any work done. Dr. Qureshi took several photos of my natural teeth to send off to the lab along with my molds. My teeth now look better than ever and are incredibly natural looking. I definitely recommend Dr. Qureshi if you need this kind of cosmetic work done.""
