Dr. Farhan Qureshi is hands down the BEST dentist in the DC area. He is very personable and has a calm demeanor that makes you feel very comfortable. I can also appreciate how gentle he is when working on your teeth ! His staff is outstanding- you're always greeted with friendly faces. I can't recall ever hearing anyone say, "I love to go to the dentist".  Well, you are reading it now!  I love going to the dentist.  My teeth and gums have never been healthier. The minute you enter the office you are greeted like a friend and made to feel special.  Alicia sits at the front desk and has always been able to answer any questions, willing to go out of her way to find appointment dates that work for us, and never made me feel uncomfortable when I've had to cancel.  Joan, our dental hygienist is the best!!   She is so thorough with her cleanings, checking for any signs of a problem and all with a smile.  You know she cares about you.  She offers good advice that can make it easier for me to keep my teeth and gums healthy at home.  She is also very gentle.  Dr. Farhan Qureshi is wonderful.  He is very knowledgeable about the latest techniques and very good explaining in detail what he is doing and why.  He is also VERY gentle!  I had actually thought about changing my dentist and going with a participating provider because our insurance pays very little towards dental, but that was only a "thought".  Why would I give up such great service?  I want to continue to say, "I love to go to the dentist". more

At Dr. Farhan Qureshi's office, him and his team always make me feel welcome and comfortable !! The ladies in the office are always smiling and very helpful. They give me blankets if I am cold, a headset to drown out the noise, etc. The team takes great care of you AND your teeth! Keep up the great work! Thanks Guys! more

I found Dr. Farhan Qureshi by looking online-after reading all of the positive comments I decided to make an appointment. I was filled with fear on the day of my appointment, but after meeting Dr. Farhan Qureshi and explaining my past experience, I was immediately put at ease. He is very kind, gentle and knowledgeable. A dentist that really cares. The supporting staff receptionist-Alicia and the dental assistants are just as special... so caring and pleasant !!! I had a root canal, crown and 1 filling. NO PAIN! On my first appointment I used the sedation dentistry, but I have not needed it since. I no longer feel fear when I am in the dental chair because Dr. Farhan Qureshi is the BEST! My search for an expert in the field of Dentistry is over. more

After the last several years of trying to find a good Dentist: WOW, was I surprised to find Dr. Farhan Qureshi. I have never felt this comfortable in a dental office before, but from the very first visit to Dr. Farhan Qureshi's office, he was caring, kind and gentle. I had broken my front teeth in an accident and was not only in pain but feeling depressed by the way I looked. After visiting several dentists in the area I decided to go with Dr Farhan Qureshi . Although we moved to Shepherdstown, we decided without question that it was worth the hour and a half drive to remain the patients of Dr. Farhan Qureshi. He won our immediate confidence during Susan's first appointment with him- an emergency caused by a tooth that had broken into several pieces under an old crown and above a filled root canal. In place of that hopelessly failed tooth, she now has a perfectly functioning implant, expertly, carefully, and painlessly installed by Dr. Farhan Qureshi. We trust him implicitly to evaluate and take care of our dental health, with our best interests as his highest priority. We feel the same way about Joan, who has been our hygienist for 13 years. Other members of the staff- Elena,Alicia, and Laila- are equally professional and trust inspiring. Dr. Qureshi is a genius. I had a crowned tooth that had lost all the bone underneath, and he was able to save the tooth and rebuild the bone. I wouldn't dream of ever going to anyone else. more

My dental appointment with Dr. Farhan M. Qureshi, D.D.S., of Alexandria Virginia, and his office staff was awesome! I can’t believe that I am saying awesome and dental appointment in the same sentence, but it was like a trip to the spa! Picture this… I’m sitting in a recliner and have a blanket to keep warm. (We all know how easy it is to get a chill in the doctor’s office.) I’m wearing shades, was given a vibrating pillow for my lower back, ear phones with my choice of music, (I have Tina Turner singing “Your Simply the Best” in my ear.), drowning out the drilling noise as they chiseled away the plaques, not to mention I was given a squeeze foam grip to transfer stress from the most uncomfortable moments of the procedure. The next morning when I had to return to receive the second round of antibiotic treatment cleaning on the other side of my mouth, I was actually excited to go back! What a difference from other dentist appointments I have had! I feel so lucky to have found such progressive and compassionate dentistry. more

As a long-time patient of the wonderful Dr. Paul Zimmet, I was devastated to see him retire. But, I trusted him to find the very best to take over his practice and so did not worry. Dr. Z was right on and I was right not to worry. Dr. Qureshi is not only a talented professional, but a man who exudes friendliness and caring toward all. He and his staff are a family of people who connect with patients with great pleasantness as well as efficiency. Joan Isenberg is the ace hygienist who is one of the nicer people on earth. I was just a boring maintenance patient until a tooth broke in half leaving a sharp fang. Dr. Q carefully detailed the three options, allowing me time to mull it over. Initially I became his patient through a dental emergency, after neglecting a severely cracking molar & contracting an extremely painful infection. He was fantastic, listening to my concerns, suggesting various solutions, together we decided on the best treatment. I eventually required an implant; Dr. Qureshi performed all stages of this procedure himself. I've since recommended him to many friends, colleagues & family members. I was lucky to find Dr. Qureshi's office shortly after moving to DC. They are affordable but still manage to offer great quality of care and service which is impossible to find in DC. Most offices are more like spas- with spa prices to boot! Joan does a great job with my cleanings--I have a small mouth, TMJ, and a host of other complications but she takes it all in stride- and also is the friendliest lady you'll ever meet! This is why I still drive to VA from DC, although there may be more convenient dentists to my home it's worth it to go to Dr. Qureshi.! more
