FYI, I'm reviewing the Westbury location, so I had to put my review at the Smithtown location since they don't have Westbury. When you are about to park at Famous Dave's, you will notice that the exterior resembles that of a log cabin. As you enter, you will see Famous Dave's numerous BBQ awards. You will notice an interior resembling a mountain lodge in the restaurant. Now, onto the food. You can choose to start with an appetizer if you'd like. My favorite appetizer or entrée on the combo menu are the BBQ wings with the mild BBQ sauce. These wings are meaty and tender with Famous Dave's signature Sweet 'N Sassy BBQ sauce on them. What about your entrée?I suggest you try the signature item, the St.Louis ribs which are not fatty, tender, and basted in the award winning Sweet 'N Sassy Sauce. Another favorite here is the Brisket, it has a smokey flavor and melts in your mouth. For something a little less heavy, order some of their tender BBQ chicken or Country Roasted Chicken if you like it plain. All entrees are served with 2 sides. For sides they have crispy on the outside but soft on the inside wedge shaped fries which I like, hot and steamy green beans, cinnamon apples, cole slaw, mashed potatoes, potato salad, and baked beans. If you would like to try their signature BBQ items, try The Famous Feast(serves 4-5 for 52.99)with ribs, brisket or chopped pork, and BBQ or Country Roasted Chicken. The Famous Feast is served with fries, cole Slaw, baked beans, 4 ears of corn, and 4 corn muffins. There is a Famous Feast for 2 or 3 people for 29.99 which was excellent. If you would like a sandwich, try the tender and juicy grilled chicken sandwich, other sandwiches are available and are served with 1 side. Desserts are available, but I have not tried them, everyone raves about their bread pudding though. Service at this place is excellent as waitstaff are eager to please. This place is crowded on weekends, so have their great food to go. I am so happy that Famous Dave's BBQ opened
