My sister visited Dr. Doshi four days after the very sudden death of her 19 year old son, as she wanted to receive some sleeping pills. Instead of showing even an ounce of compassion for the situation the Dr. yelled at my sister for having a cup of coffee in the waiting room (said the caffeine was keeping her up), told her to change her lifestyle and that she should immediately go back to work. This was all told to her in the first 40 seconds of meeting her.
She said she wasn’t her Dr., which we knew but her doctor wasn’t available in the short notice. She didn’t ask a single question about her or even try to diagnose her, she just yelled at her and told her sleeping pills were addictive. My sister understand the dangers of sleeping pills, but since she hasn’t slept in four days and is still in shock, we believe if anyone should be prescribed this medication she should.
Overall if you are even thinking about going to Dr. Doshi I would reconsider as this was by far the worst experience my family has ever had.
