The staff was beyond friendly and very compassionate about what was going on with my pet. I didn't have to wait very long in the waiting room, so that was really great for my dog. more

We have been bringing our golden retriever here for 3 years now and the staff has always been courteous and efficient with us. The vets are also very knowledgeable. Overall, they do a great job! more

Dedicated Veterinarian Staff! 3/16/2012

The doctors at Family Pet Hospital are so caring and compassionate. I have been taking my cats there for a couple years and we have finally found a Veterinarian that suits our needs! The staff is dedicated and attentive and I appreciate that they always follow up to make sure everything is going well. They are good about explaining everything thoroughly so that there is no confusion or miscommunication. We are very happy there and we would definitely recommend Family Pet Hospital in Woodstock, GA! VERY HAPPY WITH MARY-ELLEN 3/23/2011

We were so surprised to read the reviews of Mary-Ellen. Mary-Ellen was filling in for our regular vet (who we LOVE as our vets and staff are awesome tool). We were worried as our regular vets were not there but Mary-Ellen was awesome. She was just filling in and took a serious interest in our sick kitty and tried to find solutions for her even though our kitty was not her normal patient. We found Mary-Ellen perky, friendly, and very interested in our kitty's issues. We've been through a couple sick kitties in the last couple years so have visited many vets and we would highly recommend Mary-Ellen. more

Most caring vet in woodstock 1/18/2011

A few weeks ago my dog ate some mouse poison and I took her into Dr. Skees- naturally I was in a total panic. What a wonderful experience I had- Dr. Skees was calm and reassuring- he even took the time to explain to me the math equation that showed the amount ginger had eaten wasn't a lethal dose. He explained what they would be doing and calmed my fears. While he worked on Ginger Mary Ellen stayed with me and was so kind. Everything worked out fine and I am so grateful for all the compassionate care both Ginger and I recieved from the Family Pet Hospital- they even called the next day to check up on Ginger. more

Horrible new employee 9/5/2010

I was in the clinic recently and was shocked by their new employee. Her name is Mary Ellen, and if you have any sense you will steer clear. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. I could not believe her behavior, not only to me but to the rest of the staff. The receptionist has always been amazing, and I was horrified with the way Mary Ellen spoke to her. She was bossy and condescending, I was so embarrassed for this girl. I have always loved this clinic, as does my pet, but I will not go back until Mary Ellen is gone. more

New staff member bad experience 8/10/2010

I have been going to famliy pet hospital for the pass 2 yrs with my dog all the staff have been very nice to me and my dog. But when I went in to the clinic about a week ago they have someone new (mary somthing) she was very rude to me and another client I like Dr Skees but until he does somthing about this new person I dont think I will be going back more

Best Vet in Woodstock 8/31/2009

Dr. Skees has been taking care of my dogs for a while and he always has the latest information on new advancements in the vet field. I was tired of putting the traditional flee products on my pets and he recommended the tablet that kills fleas and it is so much better than getting flee treatment all over the place. I highly recommend Dr. Skees Pros: Knowledge, Professional Cons: none more

I don't recommend 8/26/2009

I had three negative experiences with this vet, including my dog being prescribed medication for the wrong symptom. Pros: Close to my house Cons: Tries to sell me products and never touched my dog once more
