Started our summer off great! 10/8/2010

We recently purchased an Oval above ground pool from the Nashville location of Family Leisure. From entering the store to leaving with a new purchased pool - I was very welcomed and pleased with the customer service. John P. greeted us and assisted us in everyway possible with our purchase. He has been beside us through the entire purchase. The installation crew Michael, Jerry & _____ were excellent! They worked with our 2 small children assisting in every aspect. They were polite, respectful, and such hard workers! I have been so pleased and will refer all of my friends & family to Family Leisure - Nashville. I look forward to working with them for years to come. Thanks for starting our Summer off great! more

What a Nice Surprise 10/6/2010

My wife and I have been shopping for a pool and a jacuzzi for well over a year. I myself don't like to shop around much , it takes too much time, but my wife is a shopping fool. We wanted something fun in our backyard that our kids could enjoy with there friends. I like the idea because they would want to hang out at our house. So we shopped til we dropped. Watson's now Family Leisure is actually been in business longer and had a better BBB reputation than the other places we shopped. However, it was the last place we went because my wife read some bad reviews online. What a nice suprise when we met our salesman John. He spent at least an hour with us on three or four occasions over 2 months. He explained everything, I mean everything. The other places didn't want to talk to us unless we were buying that day. I""ve never posted a review before but Watson's Family Leisure is the only place I would refer. They were just real people who didn't make us feel like we were not worth their time. We had a couple of minor problems with the pool at first but they came out the next day and fixed it. Thanks Allen more

We bought a pool after checking at another place,based on friends recomendations.We had a minor prblem which they took care of.Everything was done as they told us it would be.We figured we saved about 500. dollars over the other place and the people were all helpful.I would highly recomend(and do) to our friends.Plus the pool school helped a lot.Sandi S more

I was treated with respect 9/27/2010

I have been looking on line at hot tubs for over a year, and just got more and more confused. I shopped several places and was either told how bad all the others were or was nearly ignored when I told the salesman I was not buying that day, that I was shopping. My last stop was at Family Leisure, thank heavens. I was treated with respect given all the info I needed, without putting down the competition. It didn't take long for me to realize that Family Leisure had the best price, service, and salespeople. Thank ou for making my decision easy. more

Family Leisure is awesome 9/20/2010

My partner and I had a home built about 4 years ago and were looking to make multiple purchases to complete the back yard patio/deck, entertainment room, as well as a game room. The thought of spending our weekends shopping was exhausting enough to think about, but intimidating as well because neither of us know much about the type of products we were needing to purchase, and research online is not always on the "up and up" as you would think. Going with the "one stop shop" concept we chose to shop Watson's ( now Family Leisure )as well as Pool/Spa Depot. We ended up buying everything we needed at Watson's. We worked with Jason, and to be honest we were not the easiest customers because we were looking to spend a great deal of money, and we kept going back and forth. But Jason was extremely patient, and even more informative about the things we were purchasing. We were barely paid attention to at the other location, even though we made several attempts to get assistance. Most of our purchases did not require more than delivery and set-up, but we did have an issue with our pool table going out of level about 3 months after install. We called and were told that due to the house being newly built, that settling can occur, but they were out to make an adjustment that same week, charging only a $35 service fee. About 4 months ago, we were going to get into our hot tub, and the water was ice cold. I'm just hear to tell you I was PISSED! It was too late to call, but trust me I was on the phone the next day and spoke with the service department...guy's name was Tiger (who can forget that name). To make a long enough story short, they were out to fix it the same day, and since the tub was still under warranty, the heater was replaced, at no charge, with the exception of the service fee. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize a company (who cares what name they call themselves?) that size, that have been in business for this long...come on folks, they have to be doing something right. more

My wife and I recently purchased an above ground pool. We shopped at a couple of different places in Nashville. We ended up buying from Watson's Family Leisure. We are very satisfied! I usually don't care for salepeople (no offense) but, the guy who helped us did a great job. He showed us all of the differences between the pools, answered all of our questions, and didn't try to pressure us. The guys that did our installation showed up on time and did a good job. I could not believe how fast they had this pool built! The only problem was when we filled it up there was a small leak at one of the fittings. They had a guy from service at the house to fix it that night! (we couldn't believe it!) I am an idiot when it comes to chemicals for this thing, so, I went to the pool class they have on Saturday and they walked me through everything I needed to do. Every time I have called I have gotten a polite, knowlegable person. It is nice to see that service after the sale can still be found! I usually don't make a point to write reviews, good or bad. But, the poeple at Family Leisure made quite an impression on both myself and my wife. I would highly reccommend them to anyone looking for a swimming pool! more

Great experience! 8/30/2010

Great experience ! Everyone was so nice, and sales person was very knowledgeable and really listened to my needs. My wife and I purchased a Spa and Theater Seats. Great price and selection. Has small issue on Spa after delivery, service people came out the same day I called and took care of. With all the concerns oover the economy, and places going out of business, it's nice to know they will be there down the road if needed. Would strongly recommend to everyone. more

Thank you Family Leisure for a great experience! We purchased a pool from Pool & Spa Depot and three (3) weeks later they were giving us excuses as to why they couldn't install our pool. We finally became disgusted with their lies and cancelled that order. The same day we cancelled with Pool and Spa Depot we bought a pool from you. The salesperson, Doug Miller, was extremely helpful and friendly. We were told the pool would be installed the next Tuesday (June 15) if rain didn't prevent the work being done. I am happy to say the installation crew was here on Tuesday the 15th June! Our pool is filling with water as I type this. The installation crew, (I'm sorry I don't know all their names, there were four and one was Bill Luther) was very professional, friendly and hard workers. They did an excellent job! We are so pleased with our whole experience with Family Leisure and will highly reccommend you to our family and friends! more

Watson's (Family Leisure) worst customer. 6/22/2010

I have to admit the caption is correct. I am their worst customer. And have been so for many, many years, even prior to their changing their name to Family Leisure. I, like many people were concerned that Watson's had gone out of business and that all the merchandise I had paid big bucks for over the past 10 years would not be taken care of any longer. OH HOW WRONG I WAS!!! Over the past decade I have had what many people would consider minor issues, but I happen to be a self proclaimed worry wart, and I admittedly have bugged the hell out of the Service department, my salesMEN (I've had lots) and Gloria, bless her heart, at the Chemical counter. I recently had to replace some patio furniture that I had purchased from a "box" store not even 2 years ago. I knew Watson's had furniture, but also knew it was, what I thought, "Over-Priced." After speaking with Will, he explained to me the real value of buying from Watsons. The quality far exceeds what is out there at "box stores." He took the time and explained the different fabrics, welds, and finishes. It was a bit overwhelming, but after realizing I wouldn't have to replace my furniture, I was very happy. Having been a customer of over 10 years, I have had my misgivings about customer service at times, but like I could say I've always been happy at the Wal-Mart, but I still shop there when I have other options. Watson's have always treated me with respect and their effieciency is commendable. My family has been in Ashland City for 30 years, and we have always shopped at Watson's and will continue to do so. And may God bless those who have lost their homes during the recent flood here in TN. more

We just wanted to take a minute to send you a big Attaboy (or girl as the case might be). We've owned 2 of Family Leisure's above ground pools in the past 10 years and thoroughly enjoy them. From the sales staff to the people manning the chemical shelves, everyone has helped us along the way. A special thank you goes out to Tiger and all the other people in the parts and service department, for their help in advising us how to replace broken parts and getting us back up and running again. more

My wife and I have purchased outdoor furniture, pool table, spa, and most recently a pool for our home. The construction of the pool was a tough experience as any construction project. Very Good Company to do Business With!!! 5/13/2010

I bought an above ground pool from them 15 years ago and the liner finally gave out. I called and spoke to someone in the service department and purchased a new liner and had it it scheduled for 1 week from that date. They came out on time, drained our pool and installed the new liner. It sure is nice to deal with a company that does what they say they are going to do. Well Satisfied Customer!? more

Called for help to repair pool and the service and quality was excellent. Scott, Rob and the guys went out of their way to make sure we were repaired, up an ready to swim! Even now when we go in for chemicals, service is great and they remember us. So glad I called them!! more
