This clinic is a terrible. I went there for 3 years and the Dr. there made me feel like a complete idiot every time I went. He didn't listen and gave me lectures on not to do drug...

Dissapointment 4/27/2011

This clinic is a terrible. I went there for 3 years and the Dr. there made me feel like a complete idiot every time I went. He didn't listen and gave me lectures on not to do drugs??? I don't do drugs or even look like a sterotypical drug user. Anyway the thing that made me switch using this doctor was when i went in with a almost certain broken arm and the dr. barely looked at it said you're fine and said if I had issues with it in the next 2 weeks to come back. I had already put off going to him for a month so it was really upsetting that I had to wait 2 more weeks to even get an x-ray. Anyways sure enough it was broken and putting it off made my bone heal incorrectly...I still have pain today. more

Great Experience 3/3/2011

I thought Dr. Walters was great. He took the time to listen to my concerns and addressed everything. He really seems to care about what is best for the patient and exhausted other avenues rather than sending me straight in for invasive tests. Most of the office staff and nurses are very nice. I was impressed with my experience. more

Horrible experience. 1/7/2011

I had a terrible experience here. Dr. Walters did not listen or address my concerns at all. Instead he spent 30 minutes asking me questions only to suggest I double up a dose of a medication another doctor had given me which I had specifically mentioned as being ineffective and making me feel groggy. I would not recommend anyone to go to this clinic, nor will I be going ever again. A sentiment which I made very clear. I really hope Dr. Walters seriously considers rethinking his philosophy and his effectiveness in his work. more

Terrible 1/6/2011

I recently moved to Ellensburg from Seattle and decided to try this place out. I left the office so frustrated and upset. Dr Walters and his staff spent 30 minutes asking me about my pain and symptoms but did not hear anything I was saying. When I explained how a muscle relaxer made me feel groggy and out of it his response was to double the dose. When I told him I would like massage as part of my treatment plan he told me P.T. would be the same. I felt he was incompetent and rude. I would never go here again, and would never tell anyone else to go to this office either. I will be continuing my treatment in Seattle. THAT is how bad this experience was. more

The doctors and team are wonderful. We have a child just under 2 and my wife is pregnant with our second and would not take them anywhere other than to Dr. Walter and team at Family Health Care. more

Better communication is needed 4/28/2010

I personally do not care what their religious backgrounds are. I do care that my family has visited three of the doctors in this office. Not one of them seems to really listen to us. No matter what we say or how we say it, they just do not hear us. They want to redo all of the tests the other doctors have already done. They do not trust any other medical professionals opinion, even the specialists that they sent us to! The office staff and nurses are great! Too bad the doctors did not learn their beside manner from them. more

Marlene--Many of the folks at Family Health Care of Ellensburg are German BAPTISTS, not Methodist. Just thought I'd make the correction. Derrick Brubaker 8/20/2005

Dr.Derrick Brubaker is a physician at the Family Health Care Center of Ellensburg. Derrick is a younger physician, but he is a very thorough physician. He is backed up by a younger staff. His staff is mostly German Methodist that are very friendly, welcoming, and fun to be around, as is Derrick. more
