Family Dental Care

Dr. Ralph Maiello and Family Dental care is the only place I will ever go for my dental needs. I had major dental problems and was new in the area and went to Family Dental Care and was treated like I've known them all my life. The friendly and helpful staff and gentle dental care have made me a loyal patient and I have referred many people here, who have all had the same experience. They are very good with payment plans and take all insurances too! I would never go to another dentist! more

This is the best dental practice any where! The office is clean, staff friendly and helpful (especially with insurance and payment plans) and dentists all fantastic. The staff is also bilingual so all are welcome! more

This is the best dental practice anywhere! I have never been a fan of going to the dentist and I think I passed that fear along to my children. However, when we started going to Family Dental Care and in particular, Dr. Maiello, we have never feared going but always look forward to seeing the friendly front desk staff who have become like family. The dental services provided by Dr. Maiello, Dr. Prescott (the orthodontist who has supplied my children with braces) and the other dentists, hygientists, etc. are exceptional and painless. The office is clean, fresh and they play great music, not muzak!! Highly recommend Family Dental Care!! more

I have been going to Dr. Ralph Maiello and this dental practice for my whole life and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. I always hear from my friends how awful it is when they have to go to the dentist and it's just the opposite for me and my family. I have had all my annual visits (xrays, cleanings, fillings, etc.) as well as a full set of braces by the orthodontist, Dr. Prescott and have never felt pain or had a problem here. Everyone is very nice, shows individual care and concern for you and I definitely feel at home and in the best hands here. I love the whole staff! more

My family of seven (husband, myself and five children) have been going to Family Dental Care in Simi Valley for over 20 years (since they opened) and highly recommend their services. Beginning with the extremely pleasant and helpful front desk personnel to the back office dentists, hygienists, and assistants, we always knew we were in the best hands possible for our dental needs. We have had many dental services at Family Dental including, x-rays, cleanings, root canals, crowns, bridges, teeth whitening and most recently my two older daughters had their wisdom teeth taken out here with ease and great care. All of my five children have had braces by the orthodontist, Dr.Prescott, who takes great pride in ensuring that the patient has the best possible ""smile"" upon completion of this process. My kids all have gorgeous smiles! They accept many insurances and will work with you to insure that their services, charges and your experience here are as ""painless"" as possible and for the most part, enjoyable and very pleasant! We definitely feel like ""family"" at this quality dental establishment! more

We LOve going to dr maiello office we do not trust any other dentist he is the best and very gentel. He always there to answer any questions i had lots of work done and with the help of there payments plans and the great staff i did all my dental work even my kids 3 had braces there. I just had a root canal and crown done with dr maiello it was so nottttt painfull and i love the way the staff in the back and front veryyyyyyy Nice and helpfull. There are great on payments plans. Also my 4 kids and husband go there they love dr maiello. \r more

This is the worst dentist office in Ventura county! Me and my family have been here many many times and the wait is always long and the staff is always rude! The last visit 11-3-2010 Dr. Cathy Maiello verbally abused my 11 yr old son, he is a very shy kid and speaks very quiet, she yelled at him ""your in 6 grade, act like it! you know how to talk!"" she then came out to the waiting room to tell me ""he has an attitude"" and she told him that the plastic flossers we have ""wont do anything if you dont use them"". what a rotten b*tch! is she completely lacking in social skills?!?!! I would never go back here, not just because of the murder/shooting last summer, but because the staff is so inexperienced that they cant do simple bite-wing x-rays without hurting your kids mouths, the tech bumbles around until someone more experienced comes to correct him! horrible all around office from front desk to back lab! There are so many other places to go, don't bother with this place. PS Ralph, sorry you are married to such a rotten old shrew! she to ruined your practice! more
