This is a rookie shop trying to learn while passing the cost off to the consumer. From my experience because of the lack of part connections of a well established shop Family auto care tries to sale generic after market parts at more than the cost of genuine o.e.m. parts. Theirs usually only 1 mechanic/owner in his 20's trying to over multitask leading to vehicles not given the proper attention and very long repair times. I had high hopes for this shop but it failed and it failed hard. Family auto care charged me much more than the dealer and promised to warranty my car 12 months or 12k miles and it never made it to either with out problems. My car now sits in my garage with check engine light on and oil all over the engine. Family auto care refuses to fix my car properly and honor my warranty and considers this fixed. Its been a awful experience and a huge waste of money. Pros: null Cons: null more

The most genuinely nicest people 8/28/2010

Sean and Nicole have to be one of the most genuinely nicest people I've met. They're both very easy to get along with and will be completely straight with you. Cool thing about Sean, is that not only does he do a great job, but he gives you the time to talk about the issue at hand. A another nice thing about Family Auto was how easy it was to make an appointment using their website. I will be using Family Auto Care and Repair in the future for all my vehicles. more

Very happy with quality of work and customer service. Both Sean and Nicole take the time to explain any problems my GMC Yukon may have so that I am completely comfortable and know that I'm getting the best for my vehicles.
