Fantastic Service 9/2/2013

I have taken my Mercedes to Fame for three years now and although it is not cheap to own / maintain this vehicle, these guys try to save me money. The other day, I had to take my vehicle to the dealership due to an issue that possibly needed to be corrected there. When I picked up my car from Bellevue Mercedes, they said they were so surprised by how well my car was maintained. Pleasantly surprised. i think they were expecting to have to do a ton of work because they hadn't seen my car in years. This is only due to Brad, Gary and the guys at Fame and all credit is due them. They now work on three of my five cars and I trust them completely. Highly recommend anyone to check them out. more

great service 5/2/2012

I had an unexpected issue with my '99 Subaru. Timing belt went and my car was stuck in my driveway. It was early in the morning and I was new in town. I started Googling auto repair shops in the area. That's how I found Fame Automotive. Gary was very helpful and worked with me figuring out the logistics as well as finances and my best options. He was honest, polite and most importantly well informed. The crew began working on my car the same day despite the fact I had no prior appointment. This a service worth recommending. Broke my $6000 stereo 4/7/2012

guys broke my $6000 stereo, every time i turn on my $60,000 BMW, the music plays full blast, which is about as loud as the sound garden second row. We also caught the owners kid smoking pot and driving his car which is a DWI. also unprofessional conduct, they can sure change oil though. the AMS oil changes were the best I've ever had. more

Knowledgeable, Professional, Service Oriented 8/3/2011

FAME was very helpful on short notice w/a quick turnaround. Very knowledgeable with Audi's, BMW's & Benz's, but w/o the attitude or prices of the dealership. I'd definitely recommend checking them out vs. a dealer for your "routine" major services (BMW Inspection I & II, MB Service A, B, etc.) more

Great experience with FAME 7/20/2011

In the process of buying a used car, I needed a quick turnaround on an inspection. The guys at FAME gave it a thorough going-over, recommended two or three service actions, and gave me an estimate. This helped me with the price negotiation, I bought the car, and needed the service done that day. I could see they were very busy with other repairs, but they made room for me and had all repairs done by the end of that day. These guys know their stuff, and they're honest about what needs to be done and what doesn't. more

Quick good service on short notice 4/30/2011

Fame thoroughly checked the ignition system to find the problem causing a missfire and quickly repaired the problem. Car was brought in on the weekend when problem occurred. They got right on it and fixed it on Monday. more

The best service for Mercedes, even specialty cars 4/29/2011

I have now been a customer at FAME since 2002. These folks are extremely knowledgeable and have taken great care of my fleet spanning 4 different E-Class Mercedes ranging from a 1986 to a 2003 model. They have also helped me out with a number of non-traditional vehicles making them extremely road-worthy. The new maintenance tracking system is the most informative and complete I have seen. more

Excellent service 3/29/2011

The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgable. The job I had done took about 1.5 hours and they made my son and I feel like family as we waited. Brad also followed up with me to ensure that the part that I brought in to have installed, worked properly, stating that sometimes that type of aftermarket part doesn't work well all the time. Very professional. more

1st class all the way---Dyno visit was awesome 3/23/2011

Highly recommend all the guys at FAME/Dyno Authority. I had my Pro Rally car in and on the Dyno on my scheduled appointment time with no extra waiting. During the tuning there was a slight glitch noticed at a certain RPM level, turns out one of the brand new spark plugs in the new engine was failing, this item was traced and found by Tim their tuner in no time flat. The session continued and the tuning has been perfect. Experience counts!!!!!! more

You guys deserve a medal. 11/22/2010

When my previous mechanic told me he literally broke bank 1 exhaust cam in half, I was struggling with the likelihood that the engine was going to be a total loss. After one visit to Fame, I now understanding the difference between one capable of changing the water pump on my Jeep, and a best in class team of specialists that fully understand the intricacies of a highly engineered vehicle. They were able to complete the work in a day so I could get back to college. 9/27/2010

Some challenges on getting the oil pan in stock and to get it installed before I had to leave for college in the next couple days. After they located the oil pan, it was only one day and they were able to fix the oil pan as well as the motor mounts that were damaged. They seemed very professional and willing to work with me. more

The people at the counter have always impressed me as professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Any exchange I have had with the technicians has always been positive. Brad took the time to carefully explain the problem with my car to me (a 240D Mercedes)and helped me decide what course of action to pursue. I live in San Diego and leave a car in Wash. for business purposes. Brad has taken care of different issues in my absence and kept me fully informed. I would give Brad and FAME automotive an excellent grade. A+ more
