Fairview Car Wash

The service at this car wash is deplorable. I brought my car in at 9 in the morning on a Wednesday. There was literally ONE car in front of me. It took upwards of 45 minutes to get my car wash completed. Why? Because the burrito truck arrived and all of the staff (except the one guy doing the full detailing) had to take a break simultaneously to eat! Talk about poor customer service. I stood there and watched this as my car sat in the bay waiting. I was trapped, I had already paid and they knew it. For the amount they charge, you would think they would be a little more courteous to their customers, instead they pretend not to understand you when you speak to them in English. I will never go back. more

I had some quarters 5-6 in my car, but after carwash was done so my changes were gone as well...someone felt free to take personal properties out of my car...shame on them... more

Drove through auto car wash at gas station near Magnolia Center owned and operated by Fairview Car wash. The machine seriously dented the side of my truck over $1800 worth of damage and the owner of Fairview Car wash said tough luck. Didn't even offer any kind of compensation! I have been going to their car wash for years and will never go again and I will make sure everyone I know hears this story. Their bad policy cost them more then compensating me would have. I went there today and for the second time I've come home with a dirty car. I pay for gold and have a card that let's me go higher...you think for that amount of money, the car would be clean! I will NEVER go back there and I'll tell my friends. more

Today I had my car washed at the Fairview car-wash and everything was washed and cleaned as expected but as I was driving home I noticed my driver's side-mirror had been broken off. Keep in mind non of the employees brought this to my attention while I was at the car-wash, so I only noticed the mirror was broken after it clunked off while driving home, barely holding on to the tape which they had used to hold it back in place. Understandable since most of the employees do not speak english well, but I speak spanish so there is no excuse for not bringing it to my attention. more

I have been using the Fairview Car Wash for many years now. They are always friendly, fast and when I get my truck back it looks GREAT. I recommend this car wash highly. Pros: friendly staff, great service, they do a good job Cons: no coffee, they had to take the coffee machine out more

$18.95 -- The seats were still dirty, the console was dirty, they never put the smell in I requested, and they ""lost"" my magnetic bumper sticker. This was by far the most expensive, most incomplete car wash I've ever had. I do not recommend this place. Pros: quick Cons: incomplete more

FILLED MY TANK WITH GAS...HAD THE CAR WASHED. THEY PUT TAPE ON THE BODY OF THE CAR AND TORE OFF A HUGE SWATCH OF PAINT. THE TOLD ME I BROUGHT IT IN THAT WAY AND ARGUED WITH ME ABOUT IT...REFUSED TO ADMIT THEY DID THE DAMAGE. IM TAKING THEM TO COURT! STAY AWAY.....THEY NEED TO BE MORE RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGING CARS. I have generally been very pleased with Fairview carwash. However, based on a recent experience, I will no longer use their services. I recently took my car to Fairview for the ""gold"" wash, which includes interior and exterior cleaning. Upon driving away after my carwash I noticed that the seat lever that allows the driver seat to recline was no longer functioning properly (it got jammed, seat jerked into place, and the lever did not return to the normal position on its own). Somewhat ironically, I was not bothered that the problem occurred - it was most likely an honest mistake/accident. I expected to get a quick and simple resolution on the issue from a business that prides itself on customer service. However, this is not what I received. The manager was extremely reluctant to admit that the problem occurred at Fairview. I had to convince the manager that it was their fault, developing a logical case/argument for the situation at hand. I insisted that Fairview cover the expenses for an estimate at the local Honda dealership. The manager kept explaining that the lever was not broken. Finally, after much pleading on my part (and a comment that I felt like I was going to cry) he conceded. He put in writing that the seat was damaged (per my request). He also verbally agreed to cover any associated expenses. I received an esitmate from Honda the next morning, took the estimate back to Fairview, and spoke to the same manager. He reverted back to where we started the prior day - he insisted nothing was broken, he wasn't going to pay for anything, and he claimed that, if anything, it was simply a piece of metal that needed to be bent back into place. He started arguing with me. And, he said that he never agreed to pay for any charges at Honda - that it was my decision to go to Honda and he was not responsible for any charges. In sum - take warning...Fairview is a decent place to get your car washed until something goes wrong. I usually go to this car wash because it is close to home. The car usually looks great after a car wash but there have been a couple of times when the rearview mirror was not cleaned.. more

This is a great place to get your car washed. The workers are fast at drying your car which can lead to water spots sometimes. It alwasys seems to me that every time I go there it's always super busy. I guess that's a good thing for them... business, but bad for us. We end up waiting a while for our cars back. They have choices on the services, such as the Silver, Gold, or Platinum car wash and each includes different cleaning, such as exterior only or exterior and interior. I find the prices to be competitive with other car wash services in the area - beginning at around $14.00 per wash. However, the Fairview Unocal gives a 20 cent discount on gas (per gallon) if you fill up here and then purchase a car wash....good deal. The guys are very thorough in their cleaning and I have never been disappointed by missed areas. Located right at the Fairview exit and 101 on the northbound side. The car wash can get somewhat crowded so be prepared to spend about a half hour during peak times. When you go in to pay, they have snacks, drinks and a wide selection of funny birthday cards for sale. PROS: good car wash CONS: waiting time can be long when they're busy. more

I wash my car here sometimes when I'm too lazy to use a self serve car wash. Here you get good, full service for a bit more. You also get other plusses, like a good wax job, that aren't so easy to get at a self serve. more

This is a popular place for car washes. I go here on a fairly regular basis to get my car washed and you can pretty much count on waiting about 1/2 hour on the weekend or after work. This is a busy place. The guys do a good job of vacuuming your car out and wiping the dash down. The care wash is great. I believe the prices start at $9.95 and go up for more attention and getting your car detailed. They have a cute collection of greeting cards in their shop and a comfy place to wait for your car to get done with magazines and shade (it's outdoors). You can get a discount on gasoline too if you fill up first. (Tipping is appreciated, not mandatory.) PROS: Thorough wash and vacuum for your car. CONS: prices are competitive. more

This place is the fastest and cheapest place that i have ever washed my car at. They have great service and they clean as if it was their own car. Great place if you dont have the time to wait for a super detailed job and if you do they do that too. more
