I had the Fairfax VA Movers team help me with a move. They were very professional and courteous. Mike was very easy to work with on the phone and they were extremely quick, but also safe movers. All of my items were moved without issue. Also, they were very straight forward and fair in the time charges. I would definitely recommend Fairfax VA Movers and in fact, I just recommended them to a coworker. more

They were WONDERFUL! Arrived exactly at 9AM with a huge truck. Carefully unloaded my stuff from the old apartment and they were moving onto my new place by 10:15. Arrive at the new location, unloaded and they were done before 11:30. These guys made the move quick and painless. I was concerned about my new tv and they made sure to secure it in the truck really well. They are also really inexpensive. I did quite a bit of shopping around and these guys were far less expensive than most other companies. Thanks Fairfax VA Movers! more

.So some three big burly guys from Fairfax VA Movers showed up at my husband and my apartment to move us!! They were kinda on the unfriendly side, but they were in and they meant business... We signed the contract, very professional and they were off!!! I was a hot day, and I figured I might cheer them up by getting them some drinks so off to the store to buy some Gatorade's... eh... worked a little... my husband overheard them that the last ladies they moved treated them like interior designers... moving the couch here, no there... over and over... a five hour job... and 15 dollar tip.... they were pissed....I would be too... So our estimated move of 4 hours only 2 because they hauled ass so awesomely.....they warmed up to us a little and were nice.... we tipped them 40 bucks a person... hey.. it was worth it... the move went so fast....and I did not lift a finger.... super awesome they take the pain in the buttness out of moving... Highly recommend them, just take care of them and they will take care of you!!!!!! more

Very careful and very CHEAP movers in Fairfax/ Falls Church VA area Hi, my name is Reggie Coleman and I had a great experience with Movers Fairfax VA. They were rapid, efficient and professional (and super friendly to boot). I never knew moving was an art until I saw these guys work (though in fairness, this was my first movers experience so I have nothing to compare it to -- but I was still impressed). They were very careful with all of my belongings and furniture, taking care to wrap everything in plastic and/or bubble wrap. They even boxed everything that I had kept out of boxes because it was an awkward shape. (They do charge extra for packing special items like LCD TVs, but I found this fee to be nominal and very reasonable). They finished the job (which included 2 pickup locations and 2 drop off locations) in an hour less time than they had initially estimated. This moving company totally rocks! They were extremely efficient, careful, understanding and affordable. I was really worried about moving because I just did it (see my review of flatrate) and I had a horrible experience. I expressed my concerns about my art and antiques being specially cared for and packed well. All of the movers took extra concern to carefully wrap all of my antique furniture and they were very cautious moving all of it. Mike, the team leader, was especially helpful and genuinely concerned about pleasing us. He even said that he has a passion for his job -- what mover says that!! I used Mike and his team for my move from Fairfax to Arlington . They came on time and did a FANTASTIC job, and they are so friendly! Extermely reasonable and I gave them a nice tip, because they did an AWESOME job! I recommend Movers Fairfax VA highly! Pros: real pros Cons: nothing more
