I was burned a few years ago with a carpet cleaning service (we lived in Florida at the time), so since then I have always used a nationally recognized company. This time I decided to google and see what else was available since I needed the entire house done and didn't have over $500 to do it. I am SO glad I did! Fairfax Carpet was on time, polite, thorough and concerned that they couldn't get some of the little spots out. Being a rental house, there are some spots of unknown origin that may never come out. I had called another company and they didn't show up for the appointment so I called Fairfax Carpet Cleaning. They were easy to schedule with and were able to see me the next day. They were prompt and got right to work. They showed me a few stains that we determined were from my children from crayons and markers. They were able to work those out because they knew what they were. They were very good and did a good job. I like the service they provided. They were awesome, they kept their promise and showed up on time and did a great job. I have recommended them a lot to friends and family. more

I set up an appointment online at 1030pm and was able to get an appointment the next day at noon. I thought this was phenomenal. The service provided was exceptional. I had my carpets cleaned four months earlier and the company that cleaned them provide a sub-par service. They went over the carpet and nothing more. There was no efforts to clean hard stains or use deodorizer. Fairfax Carpet Cleaning really did go the extra mile and left my carpet looking great. They have made the other companies I tried look like college kids trying to earn a few bucks over the summer. I highly recommend this company. You will not be disappointed. more

Buyer be ware...My original review was completely inaccurate. I should have waited until the carpet dried and did a closer inspection. Once it dried not only is there a sticky residue on every inch but all the stains were visible. I could have done a better job myself. I contacted Fairfax carpet cleaning immediately and was told they would come out to fix the problem, no one ever showed. To add insult to injury once the check cleared they refused to return my calls. Don't waste your time or money with the company. This was a very expensive lesson. more

I have been using Fairfax Carpet Cleaning for about 3 years. They are a good small company that offers a lot of variety, affordable pricing, and a personal touch that defines their service. Initially, when I was looking for a flooring company, I interviewed 4 other small businesses and also looked into Home Depot and Lowe's. Fairfax Carpet Cleaning offered the same selection but at a much more reasonable price. I also felt that the owner was very ethical and actually cared if things were done correctly. They are a small enough company that the owner still comes over to talk to you before the job. He also monitors the work and comes over afterward to make sure it was done right. I like the personal touch that he adds to the service. Fairfax Carpet Cleaning has laid in all of my carpeting and they also have cleaned the carpet for me. I have recommended them and they have done hardwood flooring and carpeting for a friend of mine. I have been very happy with them. They always do a great job. more

I was looking for a carpet cleaner in Arlington and found Fairfax Carpet Cleaning online. When I called and spoke to George Jamhour, I was very impressed with his professioanl attitude and prompt response. I called a few other companies as well and decided to use Fairfax Carpet Cleaning. They cleaned my tenant's carpet and did everything they promised to do. George's follow-through has been good, too. He is checking in with the tenant about a few spots and is going to call me back with the report. He also is the kind of person who will help you with other household problems. For example, when I needed a painter, he went out of his way to help me find one. I am definitely going to call Fairfax Carpet Cleaning again.
