I was traveling on business and got a terrible toothache that couldn't wait till I got home. A business associate told me about his dentist. I called and the receptionist was able to get me an afternoon appointment the next day, which was perfect for my schedule. Everyone I encountered here were friendly. My tooth problem was fixed and I was able to continue my trip with no further pain. If I am in the area again and have any issues, I would go to them again. more

When you are only visiting a town temporarily and have a toothache,\r what do you do? I called this place, mainly because of their proximity.\r I'm glad I did. They listend and then got me in right away.\r They replaced the loose filling that was the cause of the problem.\r They were professional, courteous, and sympathetic. If I ever move\r here, I know who my dentist will be. Thanks. more

I usually hate the dentist, and as a result haven't gone very regularly since I was a teenager. My teeth aren't the best, and I realized I definitely had a cavity after one of my molars wouldn't stop hurting. I got an appointment with Fair Lakes Dental- they squeezed me in which was great for my hectic schedule- and fixed it right away. The atmosphere was great, and I barely felt any discomfort while getting my filling. They may have even convinced me to go back regularly!! more

I was extremely pleased to meet everyone at your office recently, during my first visit. Everybody was so nice and professional. It really put me at ease. Your office is also very nice and comforting. I am a reluctant patient, as my teeth are sensitive and generally don't like the feeling I get when I go to the dentist. But you all are very gentle and caring. You took the time to explain why my teeth are sensitive and we discussed different things that can be done about that. Of course, the first thing is self-care, which I certainly need to do, and that should help alleviate a lot of the sensitivity. You really have a good office, Dr. Dehyar, and I appreciate you and your staff looking after me. I look forward to a long and healthy relationship with you all. more

While visiting my brother we went to a restaurant and had pork chops. The pork chop was delicious and I just kept gnawing at the bone, well something happened because I heard this crack and I just knew I had broken my tooth. I knew it was going to hurt but boy did it start hurting I would say a couple of hours later. The next morning my brother called Fair Lakes Dental and he was able to convince them to get me in. I KNOW you can not just walk in and get an appointment at a dental office. But boy was I glad, they were very patient with me since I was acting like a baby. I am not exactly the best dental patient, for every step they walked me on what they were doing and they gave me options on how to proceed. I am very happy with the service I have received here. All I could really care for was for the pain to go away and by the time they were done it had definitely subsided. Thank you for caring for me. more

I was in a lot of pain, I ate some steak, and a piece of bone cut my gums and I thought cracked my tooth too, Fair Lakes Dental was the first place I called, and they had an opening in a half hour, so I rushed over, they took some x-rays, and luckily it was just a small sliver of bone they had to get out from between my teeth in the gum line. You know, you always think the worst when your teeth hurt, and am so glad they didn't take me for a ride, they were very honest and upfront, and made me smile too.\r \r more

This office changed my mentality about getting dental treatm 4/16/2011

This office changed my mentality about getting dental treatment. I had a horrible experience when I got a root canal done on me few years ago That has made my fear of dental work grow immensely. The root canal wasn't done properly so I had to get a second one done on the tooth. I was really tense when I entered Dr. Dehyar's office. The receptionist was super sweet, and she started the process of putting me at ease. Dr. Dehyar came in and finished it. After getting injected, I felt pressure, but that was it. Nothing else to it. Definitely different than the first time I got this procedure done. All done in less than an hour. more

Excellent dental office 4/5/2011

Somehow I've always had crummy experiences with dentists. I especially never looked forward to cleanings, because I hate feeling uncomfortable for prolonged periods of time. I can grin and bear pain for a while, but discomfort just leaves me grumpy and wanting to kick stuff. Worse still is the smug, preachy attitude of pretty much every dental hygienist on the planet (""Did you know you don't need to floss all your teeth?"" ""Oh?"" ""Yup! Just the ones you want to keep!""), which is the second biggest reason I avoid cleanings (the first being the lint lining my pockets). Imagine my dismay glancing over the provider list covered by my student insurance. Dr. Dehyar peered in my mouth at some point, but it was Eva who rescued my gums from all sorts of oral grossness. I really wish I had the funds to get other stuff done that my mouth needs, but thanks to their help setting up a payment plan, at least I was able to get the essentials out of the way. I don't feel ripped off, but I do feel like a moron for having compromised with my choice of dental care providers in the past. I mean, picking a stranger to poke around your mouth with sharp metal objects probably isn't the best time for penny-pinching. I really wanted to give these guys four stars, because they are crazy expensive, but I also wanted to be able to give them six stars for being totally amazing in every other respect; this is me splitting the difference. more

Absolutely fabulous. I would recommend anyone to go see these wonderful people ASAP - from the receptionist and office folks to Dr. Dehyar himself, I have never been treated so well in any medical office of any kind. more

the most patient and considerate person (Dentist) 4/1/2011

Going to the dentist used to be a chore, but since I switched to Dr. Dehyar I look forward to every visit. Dr. Dehyar and each member of his well chosen staff have created a relaxed and friendly ambience that makes me feel welcome each time I enter the office. With the use of his state of the art equipment and interesting mix of music, each cleaning and procedure has been painless and pleasant. Dr. Dehyar is not only an excellent dentist but also the most patient and considerate person I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with, which is remarkable considering the fact that I am a dentist's worst nightmare! Dr. Dehyar installed a beautiful set of veneers on my top teeth and he made a night guard for me to wear because I grind my teeth while asleep. Not only did I ignore his advice to wear the night guard, but in addition I did several stupid things with my teeth that knocked off or broke veneers. I was embarrassed to go back to Dr. Dehyar to tell him what I had done, but each time (yes, it took me a while to learn my lesson) he patiently listened to my admission of guilt without reprimand or judgment, and then worked his magic to give me back my beautiful smile. On one occasion I knocked the veneer off my front tooth the day before I had to attend a wedding. In a panic I called Dr. Dehyar?s office, and even though he was not seeing patients that day, he told me to come right in and he fixed my tooth. Once more, he gently reminded me about the importance of using my night guard, and instructed me on the proper care of my beautiful veneers. Since that time I have listened to his advice and my teeth and gums have never been as healthy and perfect as they now are! more
