Horrible so far...can they redeem themselves? 10/31/2013

Beyond horrible. We had 3 visits from the "comfort specialist" and one visit by the field supervisor. Everything was discussed and agreed upon. Once the technicians got here - turns out it was all lies. Nothing of what we had discussed was communicated to the technicians and then the supervisor who visited previously conveniently forgets all of what he told us. Work was started Thursday and not finished and we were told it would be Monday before they could come back. Even the work that they did is not right. And now we were told about a code issue that affects our plans for the remodel which is why we needed the HVAC work done to begin with. If we had been told on any of the first three visits we would have done everything differently.\r \r Now I can't get the comfort specialist to call me back. Finally did get a call from a manager who says he will look into it. I'll update if they do actually manage to finish the work the next day and make it right.\r \r I understand that somet more

Curtis was my technician. He was on time, courteous, and efficient. I needed a new well pump. He worked beyond expectations for payment options. He installed the whole job within 3 hours. Excellent, thank you 7/29/2013

I wanted to let you know that the technician did an excellent job on Monday replacing the pipes under the house, under the sinks and including the pipe for the washing machine. I am very pleased with their work. They even stayed until about 6PM to make sure all of the pipes were working fine. One of them even fixed the pipe that was leaking under the sink in the bathroom as I did not know that was happening as well. \r \r Thank you! more

Great job - thank you 7/22/2013

I want to express my thanks for a job well done. Ronnie, Elmer, and Mike arrived at my house on time and wasted no time in tackling the extensive job at hand. By late afternoon they had installed my new water heater, replumbed the entire lower level and replaced a "surprise" leaking waste pipe in the crawl space under the kitchen. \r \r Please pass along to them my thanks for their professional efficiency and personable working attitude. more

Satisfied First Time Customer 7/12/2013

One of your plumbers, Hank Gielarowski, did some work in our home today. I wanted to let you know he did an excellent job. He was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. My wife and I were very impressed by his friendly and easy going manner. This was our first experience using your services and it won't be our last. Once we explained to Hank what we wanted to do he offered up suggestions that were spot on. I will tell you that the only reason we considered using your company was the free estimate, but make no mistake, it was Hank who closed the deal. He represented your company with the kind of honesty and integrity seldom seen these days. I hope that your company makes a point of recognizing and rewarding employees of his caliber. Excellent Work! 7/1/2013

Thank you FH Furr for coming and helping my family and I with our plumbing. The service technician who arrived at my home was very polite and considerate of our home and our family members. He arrived timely and completed the job without disturbing our daily activities. Happy I was able to get an appointment right away and even more shocked to find that if I did not want to move forward with the plumbing work that the estimate and call would be at no charge! This obviously wasn't the case since I did move forward with the work and am now writing about it, but I thought that was a really great promotion. Happy and satisfied customer. more

Called the guy on the back of the truck 6/24/2013

I've been having sewer problems recently and wasn't really quite sure who to call. I tried to fix it myself which only lead to more of a problem. Then I tried to call a handyman -- still no go. I saw one of their trucks parked on the side of the parkway that I always take to work and decided to call the guy on the back of the truck. I'm glad I did. Wish I would have from the beginning - would have saved me the heartache, time, money and trouble. \r \r My advice? Just call the guy on the back of the truck. FH Furr is a classy run business. Expensive but worth it. 6/18/2013

Pricier than most - but worth the money. Good to know I don't have a common criminal in my home fixing something that's extremely vital - like plumbing. GREAT to know I can sleep at night being reassured that I don't have to worry about some two bit craigslist guy coming back to rob me when I'm not home because he fixed my water heater. \r \r Two thumbs up - and worth the money. more

OMG Thank you! My husband, after the storm last year had a whole home generator installed. He deployed a few months ago leaving me home unable to know how to work the system and paranoid with the storm and tornado warnings these past few days. Well, I called FH Furr (which was the sticker on the generator) and they sent a technician to check the system and show me what to do in the event that I needed it! The guy that came out had great professionalism and took the time to really help me. I appreciate that and will refer you to all of my friends. more

I saw their "Plumber in Your Home" for free schpiel on their website and thought that it was going to be sham but heck, thought why not give FH Furr a call and see what it's all about. \r \r SURE ENOUGH IT'S LEGIT! \r \r We got same day service, didn't have to pay a fee to get someone out to the house. I shopped around at other places and their the only guys in the area that offer the no service fee bit. \r \r Of course I had to end up paying for the repairs (bathroom drain) but its nice to know I didn't have to pay more money for the diagnostic. \r \r Thanks FH Furr! more

It's nice to know that I can count on someone for such a crucial part of my home! Especially in the brutal Summer and cruel winter months. Recently had my water heater go out. I was a little hesitant over who to call since we have one of those new energy efficient tankless numbers. A good friend of mine recommended that I call FH Furr. Even though my neighbor had recommended someone else I decided to call them anyway. They were able to get out right away and Curtis provided great service. Quick, easy, efficient. more

Great job, no more hot days! 5/30/2013

Since I'm so new to town I didn't know who I should call for my busted AC. Remembered that I saw their truck outside of my neighbor's place a couple weeks back and gave the guy on the back of the truck a call. FH Furr was able to give us an appointment that we were happy with and got the job done quick. Now me and my family don't have to live in the sweltering heat out here! Thank you! The technicians were real friendly and even took the time to give me some pointers on my unit and places in town since I'm new. Friendly people, good service. I'm shocked at how big their operation was. Classy all the way. more

A-ok by me 5/30/2013

Just moved to the area from NC and I saw a Furr truck outside my neighbor's place a couple weeks ago. It just so happened that my AC decided to conk out on me - so I remembered the guy on the back of the truck. I was surprised at how big there operation is. My wife had to stay back from work to meet the guy from FH Furr but we were able to get an appointment for the day we needed and they got the job done. I'm impressed at how I got the price right up front and a guarantee that that would be the price regardless. We agreed on a deal and I got my AC up and running. I heard from some coworkers that they're pricier than some in town but the price I was quoted didn't seem all that unreasonable for the issue. more

The plumber that saved the day! 5/23/2013

Got home from work around 6:30pm to find that our hot water heater had gone out. I call F. H. Furr and they had a plumber (Tom) at my home by 8pm that night. The plumber was very professional and gave me options to solve the problem. I decided to replace the water heater due to its age. I can say that I will be a F. H. Furr customer for life. Thank you F. Helped my parents 5/23/2013

I had to call F.H. Furr to go out to my parents' home in Lakeridge since they were having some issues with their AC. I wanted to make sure that it was repaired since it's getting pretty heated out. I couldn't be at the house since I had to work but they came right away and were able to help out. I like the fact that even though I was worried since I wasn't there the tech took the time to explain to my Dad, and to me what was going on. They made me rest assured and now I am a less worried daughter and a happy customer. Thanks Mr. Furr! more

Best service and professionalism! Saw them inside of Home Depot and called them up. Ready and available appointments plus all of their technicians are background checked. I had a bad experience once in another city I lived in where I found out after the fact that one of the service men from a different company who came to my home had a less than admirable background. I couldn't sleep for MONTHS. Needless to say I did NOT have to worry about that with FH FURR. Professionally dressed and well spoken technicians and customer service. I will NEVER use another company again. Peace of mind is worth it. more
